Do you think asteroids have a brain and know which side of the planet to crash into?

Reading this thread put me in such a good mood that my daughter walked in hours later and immediately said, "Why so happy?"  I haven't laughed that much for awhile.

It's funny because it is true - and most of the time doesn't make you cringe.  Brilliant stuff.

I sure wish I had the chops to produce a few pages.
There is still lots of raw material:
"How Does Dave Get a Date"
"What Can't Dave get a Second Date?"
"What Dave Learns From BellGab"
product shots about breath mints/sleep number 90/carinova/etc.  (Those breath mint promos are just plain embarrassing).

Thuh Plan.

ROFL !

Probably would fill the coffee cups with coprolinths too.

I had one of those Zenith radios with the kind of wire stand to hold it up at an angle. Took it just about every where, even to summer camp.

I also had a Zenith radio that had a solar cell in the handle. Can't find one of those anywhere. It was waaaay before its time.

Who blames me for avoiding the lion's den until I was asked to pop in

Paper*Boy, you are on a roll!  ;D Brilliant stuff, like the Lionz Hide Out and scary lion eyes.

Catsmile, I am dying laughing at Thuh Plan. I think you discovered the seekrut plan Jorch and Tommee hatched up out of their neuron.

All the contributions on this thread are hilarious and dead on. You get a special shout out from young Mr. Grace:

"You've all done very well"

That question came-up not too long ago and I don't believe we ever quite figured it out.  The site seems to have lost it's search function.  I recall first seeing it being used around the time this thread started.  I just assumed Paper*Boy came-up with it along with his ingenious Jorch and Tommy cartoons but P*B claimed it wasn't him.  I can just hear Noory pronouncing his version of "George" every time I see "Jorch."

Anywho, "Jorch" was my favorite pet-name until "Dave" came along.  I still use "Jorch" but my favorite has become "Dave."  That one little name and the story behind it says so much about, yes, "Dave."

I can see it now, hundreds of years from now, and somebody on the GNS thread will ask "Who is "Dave"?"  ;D

P.S. - Nice IPAD.  ;)
99.9% sure it was either Paper Boy or El Bee that picked up on "Jorch". Cannot believe people are still using "Dave"; GAWD what a diss!!

Somewhere in Slime with Snoorge Snoory who still sucks.

Both the Zenith solar radio and the other Zenith am/fm radio are up for sale on Ebay right now.

The solar one is $ 250 and is incredibly hard to find in working order.

This was the very last Calvin and Hobbes comic strip

In homage to that (and with apologies to Bill Watterson...)

This isn't the last of the George and Tommy cartoons, but I admit to not thinking about George much lately, which makes it harder... we'll certainly have to continue to look in on George and Tommy, Tommy's fiancé, Ian and Jack, and the rest, to see what they're up to..

" It's a maggotty world, after all ! "

" It's a maggotty world, after all.
Tommy's fat and not very tall.
Art is back & George is about to fall ( off a cliff during the inevitable avalanche ).
  It's a ma-go-tty world ! "

No Bullwinkle to save him this time either.

Would that be a ride in the anti-Disneyland on the Bizarro world ?

And I just thought of two potential handles someone could use :

Snooregellon

Noorgellon

Or would those be 2 horrible diseases you'd contract after listening to Dave too much ala radiation poisoning ?

I think the Snoore is getting desperate with shows like what if JFK had lived. Go look at the lineup of this week's shows. NOTHING earthshaking going on is there ?
Once his contract is up, he's out and done with Art being back all the paranormal types are going to gravitate to Art because they won't have an idiot interviewing them.

Wintermute

Well... you know, Snoory has that online TV show that's soooooooo good. It's like Tom Green cable access in 1994.

More like some amateur trying to do his own cable show.
Which is what we'd gotten on radio for years.
Tv, radio or live ... Mr. George Noory Sucks.

I keep checking back to see if you've posted a new one.  I hope they never end, PB.

Texas yew:  Thanks, Paper*Boy!    It was getting skurry thinking that Jorch's Eye Pad might go dark.

:)
