Tomorrow's Gabcast and Art's comments will probably determine my TT subscription status.
I've given MITD a chance without Art Bell. That isn't what I signed up for.
Not going to make any disparaging remarks regarding Ms Wade's performance, I sure she is doing her best, but I am paying for Art Bell/MITD.
This is not meant as some ultimatum. Just a customer purchasing a product and what I expect from it.
Surely Art, Keith and the people responsible for the network can understand this.

If there are enough people happy with MITD as it is, without Art Bell on air, then they don't have to worry about people like me.
Hope it works out for ALL of us including Art, Heather, Bellgab and Art Bell fans everywhere.

I never disliked G. Noory. I am glad he is on the air as an option for me to listen to at night.
I'm sick of political rants of either side of the aisle that are all too abundant on Radio.
Myself, I'd rather have Art on than George but we can't seem to make him stick.
We always resent the guy/girl that took a special persons place regardless of their character or talent.
A pleasant fallout from the Art Bell return/fade away for me has been this forum.
I plan to stick around here no matter what the future outcome of MITD.

REAL STORY ! 

There was a radio host in not distant past,
but his latest radio-shtick did not really last.

He went off his rocker, and saw, a stalker
stalker was stalking him every night ..he got distressed and paranoid
but he didn't know how to avoid
stalker was getting closer and closer,
poor radio host was loosing his mind
stalker was there, right there.. inside !

And paranoia bloomed all around, but stalker was nowhere to be found
radio host came with genius plan, he will resign,..get off the air
and ex-sex worker will get his chair.

But she was a total , total disaster, not even close to great old Master
she was so brutal with her lack of class, people were saying,
she give him her ass - over the phone,
and he got horny,..and give her His throne.

This is a story of radio glory that is so corny, ..how old guy blew it, because he got ..horny !

I un-subbed the first weekend Keith sent out that email. I always knew I had signed up for Art Bell, and am still open to re-subbing if he comes back. Unfortunately, I've come to terms with the fact that he isn't coming back.

The problem with this suggestion is that questions/suggestions/etc aren't going to have any effect whatsoever on Art's decision to remain off the air.

Because the only way that he's ever going to be assured of his safety with broadcasting again, is if the stalker is caught.  But the only way to catch the stalker is to go back on the air.  So it's a Catch-22.

If there were some other way to catch the stalker, it probably would've played out by now.

It's a logical impasse at this point.  Unless something changes (the Bells moving to a new location, or Art taking a pro-active role in catching the stalker) it could take years (if ever) before he feels comfortable assuming that the stalker no longer poses a threat.

I had this problem back when I was in India. Something kept dragging the local peasantry into the undergrowth, and all we could find afterwards was a shredded turban and a few giblets. I solved the problem with a goat and a double-barrelled shotgun. Is it really too much to ask Art to tie himself to a tree outside his Pahrump compound and wait for the 'stalker' to make her move? We could have a picked squadron of trigger-happy BellGabbers waiting in the bushes ready to give the blighter what for as soon she gets in range! I think it would add verisimilitude if we could ask Art to bleat occasionally too, and before you know it we've discharged both barrels into the 'stalker', and Art has a nice new carpet in his living room.

Just curious, how many 'gabbers have made the conscious decision already not to listen to Gabcast during Art's scheduled appearance?  I'm in that group because I don't expect to hear anything from Art or callers that's going to be a difference marker or a revelation. At this point, you either believe Art or you don't.

We haven't heard him give a coherent explanation for Heather's sudden elevation, for one thing. All we get is that she is doing an amazing job,  but we haven't been told why she's there in the first place. I'd like to hear the thought process behind that, if such a thing can be said to exist. There are lots of things he could be asked that he simply hasn't addressed, and it would be a chance to put them, and challenge those answers if they don't sound convincing. Also, you'll need to read between the lines of a lot of it, so that it's not what he says, but the way he says it. It could be very interesting, or very banal and a missed opportunity. Only time will tell.

Complaining or paying homage, depending on where they stand.  My point is I doubt there will be many, if any, moving from one camp to another.  If that happens in any appreciable numbers, then I'll be the first to admit I was wrong and will go find the show and listen.
