I've been listening to Paul Stanley reading his book on Youtube...  Man, Peter Criss sounds stupid as a rock.  I found the Donahue show very, well, ahead of its time in a way.  More modern-era sleazy.  Yeah, I think it's a good 44 minutes although some of it is banal, it's a trainwreck a la watching the Moody Blues on Court TV.

Heather seems to be a victim in all of this.  A victim of Art's fickleness and history of quitting.  A victim of Art pushing her into the host of Art's show, when he knew the reaction of the fans wouldn't be positive.

Yes, Heather is an adult and can make adult decisions, but I am sure she was doing what she thought was right for the show to remain on air and hopefully hold the spot open for Art's return.  What anyone would try to do.

It also appears that Heather didn't have a lot of experience navigating all these waters, and if she has made mistakes, I am really not sure why she isn't given the benefit of the doubt.

Honestly, Heather seems like a good person who is just caught up in the bullshit of Art Bell, and you should place blame on Art Bell.

I have said no lies.  I was told a man should do the show, so called Steve to get a man in the seat.  He would not do it.  Not surprising that Steve would get you, his girlfriend, to come in and defend him.  I think Steve is afraid of live radio, the only live radio he's done is watching over John Batchelor's shoulder.

Monday night I called Steve and asked him to host the show that night, he stammered, repeatedly asked me if I was asking him to do the show that night.  He said his phone was in a precarious position, and had to call me back.  I waited for him to call me back for a few minutes, and he did not.  I called him back, and he was even more nonplussed.  I asked him again if he would host, faced with the reality of hosting a live show, he wouldn't do it.  However, that was not the official offer.

The official offer that was given to Steve was to do Dark City live last night as a test.  He agreed to do that, then the night before, declined.  By the way, there is no "livestream" to hook up, all he has to do is call Keith on Skype and do the show.  He wouldn't.

Why the salt? Steve is smart to steer clear of the Titanic network going forward.
