Have no fear flackie will jump all over that!

As time gets closer, dave and his so called, "camp" will be shifting into full gear to do whatever they can to disrupt and destroy Art. It's their MO. Art needs to steel himself now. Because once he gets some traction, c2c will be doomed!  Dave is filling his diapers and that is why they will stop at nothing...

Personally, I think they're shitting themselves already and this is just the beginning. They read this site and FB, and they know what kind of momentum Art has. Now they're playing their usual dirty games. Look for Snorge and his posse to make more appearances here to drop a hammer into the works, or so he thinks. I'd say they don't have a clue what they're up against, but judging from moves like this, they do and they're going to try to shut Art down. As if. I know my Insider money is going to MitD and if the timing of that article is to make people think twice about signing up, well too late.

Yes, isn't she just magnificent? I have never seen her so bright either. You'll never see another planetary conjunction with your own naked eyes again. Everyone should get out there and have a look. Just spectacular.
Yes, it's magnificent.  I hope Art catches it.

Is "aquatic humanoid" the new gender-neutral pc term for mermaids/mermen?
I thought it was the new term for KFC SciFiAuthor.

Art can you please settle this once and for all. One of the posters in another thread keeps stating that you were responsible for Noory getting the Coast gig. Several posters have made statements to the contrary but it would be better coming straight from the horse's mouth.

Quote 1 -  Ask Art Bell. He was instrumental in getting Noory the job in the first place.

Quote 2 - Not hatred. Fact. Art endorsed the man for the job.

Does anyone know who on the GabCast the last time mentioned "GeoCities" BBS? Just curious...I used to post back then in the 90's...LOL

I'd have that info but I keep trying to remember to do a screen shot and don't. First board I posted on that got more than a couple posts a day was GLP. Circa 1995, I believe.

Art has already said in this thread that they requested that he say that "George Noory" gets it- so he said that.  He had no hand in the choice and only said what was requested.  You would have to sort through quite a few of his posts- but if you go to his profile and search his old posts, it is there... :D

I had NOTHING to do with Dave getting his job, I believe he was picked by Kraig Kitchen who is the one who asked me to say "he gets it"

Ok I put a jacket on.  I'm in Northern Calif, looking west towards the ocean. There's a nice big moon, then off to the right Venus.  Jupiter should be in between, right?

Thanks for making me get my head out of the gutter to look up at the stars!  Planets.

Well, I was just starting the search through your old posts... That saves a bit of time with it right on the top. ;)

Many thanks Art! I will cut and paste in the other thread if it hasn't been done yet.

All I know is most, if not all, guests on C2C, especially the new-agy ones, or those who also were on when Art was running the show and I looked up after listening to a show from the archive, still have websites that look like they were made with a free GeoCities account or using HotDog in the mid-90's.

I can't wait for the new show!

Yes....look early in the evening into the North East and low to the horizon will be Venus, bright and huge, and then slightly to the left will be Jupiter, much more distant but fast approaching. The actual conjunction will take place June 29 through July 2, depending on the degree of Orbs you use for calculation (I use 9 degrees, but I am a bit of a rebel).

Jupiter will approach Venus, get to about the width of a quarter if held at arms length, and then begin trailing off. Two huge planets in our solar system just right there...for all to see. Stunning. All in the constellation of Leo, too.

Oh Lordly Jazz that gave me goosebumps. I came home for lunch and I shit you not while I was watching my front door opened by itself. Perhaps I didn't close it properly but I am chalking it up to a Ghost. muhahahahahahahaha.

You have said this multiple times. Some people "don't get it".

Any word on The other side of midnight?

Jupiter is very close to Venus tonight.  A very clear sky in my area.  Venus is as bright as I've ever seen.

Lucky. Gigantic thunderstorms going on here exacerbating local flooding even more than it was before.

Got it, RG!  Thanks for the coordinates.  Beautiful beautiful sight.  Just free for the looking.

Remember....you can always tell it's a planet and not a star, because planets don't twinkle. They reflect light, they don't produce it like a star...so a star will always appear to twinkle.

You will never see a conjunction like this again in your lifetime...so get out there and have a look.

Reminds me of Galileo. He was the first person on Earth to see the planet Saturn in detail through his newly invented telescope. He saw it and then didn't speak or write about the stars again for more than a year. He was too astonished.

Imagine.

I can't take credit for creating it. I saw it and thought it would come in handy...didn't take long.

Thanks RoseGirl for sharing this.  We live in an amazing Universe full of wonders.  It's hard to imagine how Galileo felt.  My house is surrounded by trees and the city lights, but I am still going to try and see the Jupiter and Venus conjunction.  It will be fabulous!
