Just saw Art talking about bringing some new guests/topics . Thought I'd offer an idea up. I'd like to hear a guest that talks about the flying humanoid phenomenon. I believe there is a clip floating around where Art talked with Loren Coleman on the wild card line about Mothman but don't recall any shows that centered around flying humanoids in general outside of Mothman being mentioned. I was with some friends back in 2003, and we encountered something bizarre in Southwestern Oklahoma in regards to the subject(Wouldn't call it mothman) which got me started on google back then typing in "man creature with wings". Got me fascinated into looking for answers, and over the years of reading books/watching reports on youtube or other sources it seems like it has grown into a larger phenomenon than it was in the 90s/early 00s.

You know I remember Art doing shows on evp that gave me the willies. Something else that scares the crap outta me is the aerial trumpet sounds, booms and low freq rumbles. Maybe a show or two on that. Linda Howe is fairly versed Ive heard. Just another idea Art.

May we never go to Hell but may it always sound like we are.

Yeah, those evp shows freak me out. And the sounds, too.  Creepy, creepy, creepy.
I'm not as much "into" things that go bump in the night anymore.  A side effect of aging? Too close to being one?   ::)

And I agree with Art.  Outside influence with Sirius/XM. None of their other hosts seem to have any problems. And some of them make their shows available on streams.(not all)

It appears to be the case. A friend of mine and I nicknamed it "Dabaculus" as a joke amongst ourselves about it being some demon. Growing up in a haunted house being tormented and then witnessing that was par for the course unfortunately. The scientific skeptic in me wishes all those experiences were just mine alone so I could get on some meds and chalk it up under something I could explain as something misfiring in my brain. I like the hypothesis/theory that maybe these things are trapped energy replaying out or some entities in a parallel dimensions that cross over momentarily. Something maybe that can be explained later on once we have a better scientific understanding of our universe.

A little something I made over the weekend. I watched War Of The Worlds on Saturday, and thought it would be cool to make a WoTW themed Art Bell picture. It was tough, because everything in the picture I modeled from scratch in 3d. I've never modeled anything alien before, so it was pretty fun.

Listening to an old GIS show on Tune-In today I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't she ill just a year ago? Hope she recovered.

That last post was meant for Coaster's art. It's so great to start seeing them coming for Midnight.

I had already started moving that way while on XM but it ended to soon. To this very day I do not understand why they did not allow me to stream until they fixed their streaming but as of today I guess they are still not working well. I think there was influence from elsewhere.

Art

If they made an exception for you to stream then they would have had to allow others across the platform to stream as well if requested, which is not a good idea if your entire purpose as a company is provide exclusive content that people pay for.  I am not a fan of XM at all because they are a terrible company but I can understand their position in this matter.

Has the reasoning been discussed as to why XM was chosen over regular radio in 2013?

You don't follow much, do you?  Art left Premier and as a result, left terrestrial radio (the two are tied together) and when he came back, satellite was a new medium.  Duh-uh...

Art. Please please bring on good ol Gramm Hancock to talk about the recent "debate" that Zahi Hawass stormed out of. Gramm was showing some slides from Robert Buvall and Mr. HAWASS got all kinds of pissed and atormed out of the debate.   Ive allways been facinated with thier whole dynamic.  Lol.  Sohnds like the old man still has the temper of 1000 suns.

Art... I know you're not a paid sponsor (at least not yet) but any advice on which CCRANE radio would be the best to get before July?

Nice.  I just wish that Tom guy and the whiny kids hadn't been in the movie.   :P

All sci-fi movies should be cast like the 50's.  A doctor with a hottie.

not a single post was lost.  for a twelve hour period, i thought we'd lost a full week of posts.  in other words, i thought they'd entirely lost the database containing all of bellgab's posts and we'd have to restore from my backup which is a week old.  sparknode was actually trying to push me in this direction at one point, at which time i informed them that this would be unacceptable and reminded them of the very public nature of their profound failure this weekend.  long story short, all seems to be as it was.  essentially, everything had to be rebuilt manually.  what a horrible weekend.  this absolutely wrecked the last 48 hours for me.  oh well.

Thank you from we, the silent lurkjority.

Same here.  Since CCrane is going to be a sponsor, I'll get a Crane S/W, as well as subscribe.

Call Bob in the morning. (Or check out the website, especially 'orphans' where you can get a deal.) I loved your War of Worlds MITD picture. Though, to me, I thought of Orson Welles's broadcast....not the more recent Tom Cruise vehicle. I still listen to that broadcast yearly (usually on Halloween.) Because he and Art were masters of the "theater of the mind!" Radio!

You got it.  Svengoolie just had it on several weeks ago.  Last Saturday's "Island of Terror" was decent.  I'm a big fan of old sci fi.

Try listening to the recordings without them telling you what you are about to hear.

It doesn't sound like anything.  Because it isn't anything

Yes I understand they want exclusive content although they carry several shows that are NOT exclusive. The fact is that if their streaming worked I would still be there but if you want $180 bucks a Year it should work. I got tired of all the complaints of constantly being cut off again and again and if you read reviews today of their streaming app they speak for themselves.

I think there XM signal is great, Sirius not so much. They are a valuable way to get to people in vehicles but in the streaming World they really need work. I simply asked for free streaming until they could fix theirs. I am far from the only one effected, check out comments from other talk hosts.

All that said the people I was dealing with were very nice, they just were unable to fix it.
