Still wondering what's up with the newest of the Art Bell facebook pages - I'm fairly convinced it's him - but why? Is he, maybe, regrouping his fan base for some purpose?

May I remind you all that TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!  On his facebook, the real-deal Art Bell announced he has an announcement for June 9th for his fans.

It's a reduced crowd assembled before the altar (see my atavar), and we wait with baited breath.... (I've always wondered what that meant...baited with what?  To catch what?  Bated instead of baited?  Help me out here....)

I just had a conversation with my grown son wherein he reminded me that at least half the U.S. population use the English language incorrectly. He then posed the question as to why I think it should matter which half he identifies with.  Although he has done well in life, I still contend that it does indeed matter.

Excuse me if someone has already mentioned this, I've been gone for awhile. But Snoory had a guest who mentioned that Art Bell was being harassed years ago by some crazy character, Snoory cut him to the quick with something like "No need to discuss that, there is a new regime here". What a putz, I could have back handed him. What a hack, I also heard him brag about "my new studios in Hawaii", I wanted to puke at this point. This idiot likely under Clear Channel/Premiere's orders seems to be intent on wiping out the memory of Art Bell, at least on his show.

Art posted a picture on Facebook that he took in Subic Bay. My tip now is that he has bought a house there and that will be the BIG announcement. Looks like we will be disappointed that he is not returning to the airwaves.

Some Art Bell fans remind me of members of cargo cults. That giant silver bird has flown. It ain't comin' back to the islands, bearing food and gifts. The best that we can hope for is a competitive new show from someone.

Ok, we are delayed 3 Weeks. If I can get 145 unit owners in my Condo to sign a petition for my beam antenna they will let me have it, if not we head back to the USA. (directive from the Board of Directors)

So I guess that was the BIG announcement. Art needs 145 signatures to put up his beam antenna or else he is moving back to the US. So is the beam antenna for broadcasting or just for HAM use? Does this mean a return to the air is possible?

This must be for HAM use, his radio show was done over some kind of network on his end, not with an antenna.  The only antenna involved would be at the individual radio stations broadcasting the audio feed locally.
