Have any of you attended anything like this? All I can think of are the crowds of people I'd see at some of the new age/psychic fairs I've attended. They ranged from nice to creepy.

So this is his assignment? Now I'm disappointed- I thought we might see the show revived by change but I guess not.

I know this is probably wishful thinking, but what if the management is testing the results of an alternate host during the week? Maybe they will cut GN back to a few nights until they replace him. I did not once roll my eyes or tell the host to "shut up, George!" once in the last two days. I didn't realize just how different the same show/subjects/guests is with another host. I'm no marketing genius so surely others in charge have noticed as well.

I think you give them too much credit. George is simply off "shoring up his base" at the Contact In The Desert event, I think. Who goes to these things by the way? I can't wait to see some funny photos posted on the C2C or Norry's site.

If he goes hunting for a UFO I hope he gets beamed up. Of course, he would probably ask the aliens a bunch of stupid shit... and get dropped of in the middle of nowhere. I can just imagine Neorge stumbling into the studio days later looking completely disheveled while telling Tommy all about his experiences with the anal probe.

According to Dave Hodges' ode to John B. Wells (Feb 2014), Noory only had 275 to 300 thousand a night.  Does that jibe with your numbers?

I think George gets a little more than that but not by much. I get 550,000 according to talkers, which has his ratings at 2.75 million a week. But they are sinking fast.

But I think some night Norry pulls less of an audience so perhaps that is where the 300 thousand number is coming from.

Jimmy Church really seems to dislike George..  He made a comment about how was George going to find a limo to take him to Burning Man?? As he ALWAYS arrives in a limo at events.  He also made a comment about George's hair being a "little crooked" last time he saw him.

I suddenly like Jimmy a bit more.

Alright thanks.  I should have known a supporter of Wells would skew the numbers like that.  It might have even been Wells himself who said it because the article supposedly came out of an interview with him, although Wells does not seem to be quoted or paraphrased anywhere.

You should post the Jorgo pic every so often.  If he is checking up on us, seeing it would be like looking in a mirror for him and would probably give him a good scare.

What a coincidence--I just mentioned Fancy Feast in the Celebrity Deaths thread.

I had a feeling that Peter Breggin would be on in connection with Robin Williams.

The next guest sounds like an agendized character. But if by chance he talks about Maureen Dean, then I'm down with that. Amazingly, I guess the Deans are still married.

Ben Shapiro had a guy who had been in the Nixon administration on today, but things took an unexpected turn when the guy wanted to talk about LBJ being behind the Kennedy assassination. Not usually the sort if territory Shapiro ventures into, I don't think, though I don't listen to him that much.
