Shame on you, George. Your Angel Lady should be in jail for fraud. I could only take 25 minutes of her bullshit last night before I turned it off. Do you know what kind of pitiful people buy angel readings? YOU don't have to work for a living, but some of your listeners who scrub toilets at night set aside a portion of their meager wages to buy "readings". These sad people are willing to pay someone to tell them pretty things and that their lives are going to get better - whether or not it's true.

Thank you for articulating what I was feeling last night. I started to type something similar a few times, but was too pissed off to keep it concise. I kept picturing lonely, little old ladies, on a fixed income, listening to the show and then hurrying out to buy this charlatan's book so they could learn to be 'best buddies' with good 'ol Gabe and Mike.
I cannot tolerate someone who claims they are the special one who is needed to be your conduit to God or the angels. It is the most despicable form of fraud. Desperate people refuse to see that if these self proclaimed messengers and teachers were actually legitimate, they would have been directed to share their skills/knowledge for free. Like Seraphim said last night, if that women actually laid eyes on an archangel, her head would explode.
There is a special place in the afterlife for those who prey on the weak, and an even more special place for those who do it through religious or spiritual fraud.

     No harmness from Robb Riggs and Tom Burnette, on the undulations of the southern bigfoots who evidently ain't as noble and stately as their northwestern counterparts, among other things.  I wanted to hear more about congressional shenanigans from Fair Tax guy, Bill Spillane.  Why would anybody spend money on a new L.A. studio for George?  What plans do they have for their little sock puppet?  What's "beyond" about those tangerines?  Was I high, or did George spend an inordinate amount of time talking about his upcoming "events"?  How many avatars is Seraphim gonna go through?  Why would anybody request more of that stupid ufo phil song?  What did George mean when he said the weekend host "do their own little thing"?  Is staying awake and attempting to conduct a better than half ass interview a "little thing"?  Did George really know what that nuclear fusion call was all about, or can stringing together meaningless gibberish with just the right intonation get him through anything?  And what excactly was all that about the Norwegians?

I'll accept that the word is a bit extreme. I used it to describe the creepy nature of her sign-off, not to accuse her of anything. But I will happily withdraw it. It was typed in anger and is beside my point anyway. Do go and look at the video of her onstage with her beloved U-Kiss, though, to whom she is a self-appointed 'mother'. All kinds of wrong: not least, musically.
Ms Lysette made her position very clear. She is born again, believes Jesus Christ is her King and controls every aspect of her life, and the role of the angels is to manifest and execute God's plans for us. Her comments must be seen in the narrowness of that world view. It has nothing to do with whatever spiritual pre-disposition Native Americans may or may not have or once have had. She was very specifically stating - in response to a question about a caller's mother and victims of sex-trafficking - that the angels would have explained to Native Americans who were going to live through the expansion of the US what was going to happen to them and how this was part of God's unfolding plan. She explained that all the misery endured by the tribes is just a 15 minute sleep 'on the other side' and so, in the grand of scheme of things, doesn't amount to a whole hill of beans. God knows best.
The same would clearly apply to the caller's mother, the victims of Sandy Hook, the pregnant woman hit and killed by a snow plough a few weeks back, or the elderly, faithful church-goer I remember reading about who was hit and killed after parking her car to attend Mass. Etc. Etc. You can append the entire catalogue of human misery. Ours is not to wonder why.
All part of God's plan. Because, as George Carlin once memorably explained, He loves you.
It's having this kind of dumbass clap-trap being given a free pass on C2C that infuriates me. I don't say people holding those views shouldn't be given a platform on Coast, of course they should, but please, please, please, let them be questioned and challenged. Noory won't, because he's not capable and because this chimes with his own five-year old's grasp of theology. He told us during the show that he is 'convinced' that angels exist, so he's hardly likely to do that, is he?

State of the art, apparently. At the same time as they're about to finally unveil the Hawaii studio. Given that there's no need or justification for Joorch to be shuttling his ass back and forth between the two studios in the first place, it seems odd. And there was Art, running the show with proper, unscreened Open Lines out of his house. You begin to wonder what Noory has on Prem Rad that they keep showering him with contracts and studios.

And he told us about his grand-daughter, rushed to hospital with an asthma attack, and asked us to 'toss her on the prayer list'. Warm and fuzzy, huh?

I suspect the long-awaited Hawaii "studio" includes some pretty spiffy accommodations for "visiting" PRN/CC management.  You'd be surprised how many corporations maintain vital ops in HI that require constant management visits. The need for a talk host to sit in studio is moot with 2014 comm technology.  As for Bell, IIRC, he had a staff in Medford OR managing his satellite feed and distribution, cues for the announcer, etc. when he was on.  All Art really had to do was manage the call-in lines and maybe cue the bumper music.
