This dude right here is not an intelligent caller.

The host being an idiot doesn't help either.

One of the hottest things in Japan right now, is this graphic art style called "Aneeem".  It's good that you are so in touch with what's hot in Japan. Ummm.. Such as Anime.

Is Ed Dames house hunting up there?

Not that I'm aware of.  Steve Quayle lives there though and thinks he is safe and at the same time he's babbling about all of the volcanos erupting at the same time.

That reminds me, I've got a couple of "gay Tommy" haikus that I can't bring myself to post yet.

Do tell...

Akira came out in what 1985, right? Jorch is really hip.  I remember seeing a weird one called Legend of the Overfiend.  Sick and twisted.

Overfiend was pretty much just porn..could have been interesting if there wasnt all the sex in it

Urotsukidoji is actually an example of hentai that is good despite the tentacle rape.

Akira was always fun, but at one point they wanted a americanized version with Keanu "Ted Theodore Logan" Reeves. It would have sucked more than George.

Iike Golgo 13, but have I'm not a bi anime fan.

A friend of mine got it at Suncoast Video of all places and we took it to his place and watched it thinking it was like a hard R rating and not x-rated.  Were we surprised!! . We started playing it and there was all of this sex so we took it out before his Mom who was in the next room could catch us watching it.  We did watch it later on when no one was around.

He did NOT just segue from B.B. King's passing to a Beyond Belief promo did he? Please tell me I imagined that.

It's an easy segue for him to make.  B.B. King stands for Beyond Belief King.  Just Like BB guns stand for Beyond Belief guns.  ;D

Wait until Dave discovers Looney Tunes.

I briefly signed up for gaiamtv to listen to Dr. Loraine Day after I heard her on C2C when Art was still on., the minute I saw Noory's mug on the home page I knew I had to immediately cancel my subscription. And I did. Ironic how bc of Art I signed up, and because of Joorch, I signed down.

Well, thank God that is over.  Now for some wackiness from C2C's religious advisor, Steve Quayle.

Damn.  I was hoping Whitley Strieber would call in and one again describe the anal probes the aliens did to him.  That's clear abuse, isn't it?

You think this sucks.  Wait until Tuesday when Lee Cigar joins Jorch as a guest. I kid you not.
So much suck it may generate a singularity - suckularity? - and destroy the entire solar system

Rico999

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this -- I haven't had time to scroll through last night's chronicles of suck -- but did anyone pick up on Dave's announcement of the death of B.B. King?   He mentioned his hits "such as 'Lucille,' and 'Sweet Black Angel...."

It's no secret that Dave doesn't know shit, but what the hell's wrong with his staff?

DAVE, "Lucille," the tune, was a HIT by Little Richard.   B.B. King named his GUITAR "Lucille."   It's common knowledge among just about anyone who's been alive the past 50 years and has any cultural knowledge at all you fucking doofus!

Also, the tune wasn't "Sweet Black Angel," it's "Sweet LITTLE Angel!"

Damn!

The Quayle compound is near Bozeman, if I'm not mistaken and very close to Yellowstone NP and it's volcanic activity.   Quayle probably figures on rapturing up to heaven before the caldera blows....

And what I'm saying is is that...
What it was is is that...
And what I mean by that is is that...
The point being is is that...
Here's what I'm saying, what I mean is is that...
And I'll say this, what I'm saying is is that...
And why I'm saying this is simply this, it's that...

Quayle's syntax is aggressively annoying.

While it's amusing that he's only just discovered anime which has been around for fucking decades, did he literally pronounce it "aneeeem?"

Yes, he enjoyed listening to it as he read "Chariots of the Gods" and watched "Old Yellow."  Believe it or not?

NoMoreNoory

I'd love someone to run a word count for Quayle. It is an astonishing tour de force he puts on every time he guests on Coast, leapfrogging from one half-baked idea to the next wild assertion like a free runner. It's a tour de force of pure, unadulterated bullshit -

- the invasion of Iraq was not about oil or regime change, it was to get the DNA of Gilgamesh
- Satan is behind CERN
- the US military hates Jesus Christ, and anyone - even a padre - who uses his name will be discharged

- but pretty impressive nonetheless.

But I thought it was to get the secret stargate technology.  ;)  ;D

Yes, he did pronounce it "aneeem". It was in connection to Assault On Titan. I missed the Gilgamesh DNA part myself, but something was mentioned about Hercules. It was very strange.

Wow... I guess "ah-nee-may" is just too hard to say for him.

It`s not abuse if it`s between two consenting space cadets.

Yes, but it was Quayle, not Noory, who made the statement about this crazy new form of cartoon that preoccupy the Japanese, called aneeem.*  It came up during one of his long winded rants about something or other, so at this point I have no idea how it related to the conversation.

*(Deeyeennoveeyetee E. probably has it down more ver batim than I was able to remember)_
