Thank you, General.  I'm sure Dave "appreciates" it.
Your statement was much deeper than it appears on the surface IO. Not that I have to tell you this. It is perfect.

Wonder if tonite's show has anything to do with it being Jerry Garcia's birthday today. I know the deceased guests sure are "grateful" not to have to talk to Dave anymore.

You're right!  Well as we all know, Dave "dushn't beeleef in coinshidenshes" so there must be something to it.

How on earth did you do that?  Hysterical!

Just looked over the "In Memoriam" list of guests.  It's a  mile long!  How in the hell are they gonna get thru it?

It's gonna sound like the WKRP guess the song contest..........

I'll admit it was nice to see Lou Gentile on the list - he had one of my favorite radio show intro's ever.

Wait a minute...wait one damn minute here.
Tonight's show is about former coast guests from the past 20 years that are now deceased. Damn I must be fucking high tonight. This show made no sense to me whatsoever. I get it now. This show is a cheap shot at Art. I'llbeuhhsummmbitch

hosehead

Conway and Bender on KFI just started busting on Jorge's "bifernated" mush mouth. Love it.

That is what makes it so comical.  In their attempt at a cheap shot at Art, they put together C2C's obituary.  RIP dear friend, Art will avenge what they did to you.

No respect for the man that makes them money now

Hence their selection of music last night. These are some real sick fucks we're dealing with here. A class-less new low in radio.
They must be very, very, VERY in fear of their collective futures these past few weeks.

Well that or there using the same bumper music as always.

Someone reported they played Art's bumper music last night. I was under the impression that J'eorge has some psuedo-disco bullshit music on there now and definitely not ABBA, etc. I could be wrong though because I have not listened to him for many..........many years.

George:  "Next hour, a special tribute to C2C guests who have passed on.  At least 59 old people."  That's exactly what he said.

Dave admitted to giving a false report about earth almost getting punched in the teeth by a solar flare last night. Lol

I heard 59 some people.

Immy

A guy reaches into an industrial machine to fetch his cell phone, fell in "and got chopped up." Dave told this story casually and without an ounce of sympathy, like he was reading the sports page. What a ghoul.

He plays both. It was a little heavy on old bumper music nothing that unusual though. Sometimes people want to critique dave for everything. He does enough stuff there's no reason to stretch

Definitely old people. Bizarre. Was he trying to say 'old friends' or something?

Then Dave heads onto Tylenol and the FDA warnings about acetaminophen. Sensing a minefield ahead, Dave pauses, takes a deep breath......and says......'asootafinamen' or something. The comedy gift that keeps on giving.

Fair enough sometimes I think my brain auto corrects dave, like when you read a typo and you see how it should be written instead of the actual typo.

Wtf is the guest talking about global weather changes and a hockey stick.

Did Noory at the start of the show tonight say that he has a "September Surprise" coming?
Could that be timed with Art's September launch of his new Sirius show perhaps?

Freaking dave. I don't know if we are warming up or starting to cool down. Yells, "I don't know".

I guess when there's some ambiguity, we naturally assume Dave said something dumb.  Because that's usually the case.  I went back and listened, and I think he said "bold" people.

Just looked up the current guest and got this hit

Ball has been represented in the media as a climatologist (Canada's first, don'tcha know?) who has held a professorship for upward of twenty-eight years. However, he carefully omits this in his curriculum vitae.[2] In fact, he was a professor of geography with a focus in historical climate who retired in 1996. When the Calgary Herald published a letter[3] that called into question the credentials listed for Ball - in an article in which Ball attacked Tim Flannery,[4] Ball sued for libel, while admitting that he had not been a professor for twenty-eight years.[5] (Don't think too hard about that one or it might make your head hurt.) Before the suit was dropped in 2006 and 2007 (against 3 defendants), Tim Lambert of Deltoid dared Ball to sue him, too.[6] Lambert also expressed doubt over the relevance of Ball's research:

""However, hardly any of those 51 publications are in scientific journals but include things like gardening magazines. I looked in Web of Science and could only find four papers by Ball, all on historical climatology, none on climate and atmosphere. I don't see how Ball can possibly win his case, but I guess that's not the point.[7]
Eli Rabett has created the "Tim Ball Award for Resume Stretching" in his honor.[8]

Even within the deniosphere, Ball hasn't come up with anything new or impressive. All he does is constantly repeat points refuted a thousand times about solar cycles and how carbon dioxide is plant food. For example, take a look at his ingenious "refutation" of rising sea levels where he just puts some ice cubes in a glass and lets them melt.

Why is it everytime I look up a Coast guest, I get something along these lines?  I guess George just seeks out people on the fringes of society who are the only ones willing to tell yu the trooth.

Ding Ding! Maxwell wins. Still seems an odd thing to say. Old, bold and covered in mold.

Yeah, I got bold.. I think I got that the first time I heard it but quickly forgot.

Bold for coming out against the mainstream on Coast I guess.

Hey how dare you suggest dave research guest. Well not even research them, just google their name.
In c2c defense it's not like people are beating down the door to be a guest.
