    We don't live in a meritocratic world. We live in a world where mediocrity is rewarded and admired more often than not. And that's why Noory has a contract with Premiere...and sadly isn't occupying space beneath a railroad trestle in Detroit.

The Nooron is a newly discovered sub-atomic particle.  It was discovered when a microscopic black hole was created at the CERN LHC, but rather than gobble up the earth as was initially feared by many who had been listening to late night talk radio, it quickly decayed into an object comprised mainly of empty space but with an enormous volume of hot air.  It was once speculated that black holes have no hair, but the the newly discovered Nooron has been observed to possess dyed hair.   The Nooron has negative spin, zero charge, and zero kinetic energy.  Theorists are speculating that it fits into the current standard model of particle physics in the Bozoson family.  Unfortunately, the half-life of the Nooron is proving to be significantly longer than any previously known Bozoson and is unexplainable within the current framework.  Exposure to the Nooron is suspected to cause severe intellectual deterioration in humans.
