Switzerland? I've never been to Switzerland. Nearest I've been is southern Germany and Northern Italy... I've heard that its a very expensive place to go on vacation, $20 a glass of beer, that sort of thing.

I spent some time in Montreau and Verbier.  I recall springing for a meal that included a cheese fondue type thing at a restaurant in Verbier as a way of thanking our hosts.  When I got the bill for the six of us I recall being pleasantly surprised although I can’t remember the exact figure.  It wasn’t any more than I would have paid at a good restaurant inside the Beltway.
