Nope it isn't. Comey was fired because he wouldn't agree to dropping the investigation into Flynn. Comey testified to that. Trump said it wasn't. Comey said (under oath) that Trump lied about that. Today Trump is saying Comey wasn't telling the truth. No doubt the tapes will prove it one way or the other.

Yes, it is.  But what we can't have is one side running rampant, conducting on ongoing assault on the Constitution, the country, society, and the economy, running massive bribery operations in plain sight, mishandling classified information, implementing destructive foreign policy, driving the globalist agenda, lying about it, and having the media support them to the hilt; and on the other hand completely obstructing the other side when they get into office by making every comment and action into an impeachable offense, and conducting their dissent through more lies, dishonesty, and harassment.

If we allow them to somehow remove Trump - flawed and incompetent as he is - it will set a very bad precedent, damage the country further, and reward their behavior.

Now of course the Left can't help itself.  This is who they are.  The people to blame here are the Republican primary voters who gave us Trump in the first place, and the establishment Republicans in DC who are not helping by shoving this all up the Dem's asses.  But again there, Trump isn't exactly helping himself by drawing allies.

Let's say Trump told Comey to drop the investigation into Flynn, he didn't, and was fired for it.  I don't think the facts show this, but assume that's what happened.

So what?  The president is the head of the executive branch.  The Justice Dept reports to him, ultimately including the FBI.  Where are you getting the idea they are Constitutionally independent from the administration?  They aren't.  If a president is breaking the law, the only course of action is impeachment and removal.  If the president is directing Justice Dept activity, it can't be obstruction, that's his job.

The root problem here is the government has grown very much too large.  It is well beyond what it was set up to be, and what the Constitution allows for.  All this money and power should not be flowing to DC, if it weren't it wouldn't be attracting the worst people, and the stakes wouldn't be anything close to this high.

After Watergate, we have special prosecutors (but only if the administration appoints them, Obama was smart and wouldn't, and of course the Fake News Media didn't demand he do so), and we've been programmed to accept the idea the Justice Department, FBI, etc, are ''independent'' (better to enable the left-wing hacks imbedded in the permanent bureaucracy to hold the power there).  They aren't and shouldn't be.  The person in charge should be accountable to the electorate - to the voters - it shouldn't be the unaccountable bureaucracy

Took me a while to come around, but yes, Clinton is just bad news. I am as middle of the road as it comes. Trump won, people need to stop being butt hurt. He is our President. I don't like the guy, but it's time to settle the fuck down and see what he can do. We are a fucking nation of crybabies. Let me see if I'm following your train of thought on this. Comey as head of the FBI has an ongoing investigation into Flynn, who has admitted to having not been forthcoming on his security application form, and who knows who else. Trump ushers Kushner and Sessions from the room so only Trump is there with Comey. Trump asks Comey to drop the Flynn case and fires him because he refused. And Trump said that was the reason; Although Sessions and Rosenstein had sent two separate memos to Trump urging Comey's dismissal because of Comey's treatment of Clinton last year.
Let's put the fact that Trump admitted what the AG and DAG said was irrelevant to him because he wasn't firing him because of Clinton to one side for a minute:

Trump told Comey several times he admired his work and told Comey in the Oval office in front of the cameras how much he looked forward to having him working as the director.

Comey testified that Trump asked him three times after that if he still wanted to be the director; Why wouldn't he? He was three years into a ten year contract. Ten.

Then the dinner, then the sack because Trump to this day still thinks Flynn is innocent. And not once asked Comey about the Russian meddling that Comey said was an ongoing investigation. Trump isn't interested in adversaries to the west. He's desperate to make sure that Flynn doesn't open his mouth or Mueller asks questions. Why? You think its all innocent?

Maybe Comey has "tapes".  If Trump said something potentially compromising when they first met wouldn't he want to record subsequent conversations? An audio recording of what transpired would end the he said/he said debate. It's said Comey left a thick file with Mueller.

Whether or not Trump or his team colluded with the Russians to hack the election (and I don't think Trump or his team did....), what point everyone on the Left and Right seems to have missed, is that, in 2016 (or earlier) Russia made attempts to hack the the election, the DNC and the RNC. In 2016, it was the Obama Administration's failure that this attack succeeded. Why not the focus on the failure of the Obama Administration in 2016 by anyone on the Left or the Right
