The keyboard is an el cheapo Chinese "Model BKB 800," whatever that is. ;)  I'm using it right now.  It's very light weight and the perfect size for carrying around to use with a smart phone.  For me, it's the perfect compromise between a laptop and a tablet.  I picked-up a little "Fred's hand stand" to prop-up the smart phone, so the combo is like having a mini-laptop for the non-processing intensive stuff I do, like harassing Jorch on BellGab.  What wireless mouse are you using?  That might be the next addition.

The first keyboard I bought is this one:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Folding-Bluetooth-Wireless-Keyboard-Stand-for-Tablet-PC-Smart-Phone-Black-/190775568451?pt=Other_Tablet_eReader_Accessories&hash=item2c6b1c2843

That one comes with a stand built in, that you can slide out.  I like the stand.

The second one is:

I bought it to see if the keys were different than the first.  They weren't.  I would prefer a key that has a bit of a click to it, like a netbook keyboard or something, rather than these soft keys that are on both of my keyboards.

I needed the keyboard to use the arrow keys, which is pretty much impossible in TeamViewer without an external keyboard.   I've found the wireless mouse to be pretty much worthless with respect to TV, so your mileage may vary, but it is cool enough that I hope one day TV will support it better, and at times it seems like maybe using the mouse is easier than your hand - you have to click and drag the remote cursor around, which is dumb.     Outside of TV, the mouse works just like a regular mouse and works well, but I haven't had a lot of need for it yet since the only time I really need a mouse and keyboard are with TV.   This is the mouse I got:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005T4HT24

Certainly using a keyboard is far easier than typing on the screen, but I find that for short messages from my phone, the soft keyboard swype is pretty spectacular and usually gets the job done.   Again, it fails when it comes to arrow keys, and holding down shift etc.   Oh, the mouse comes in a nice little carrying case too, and the reason I specifically bought this one was because it has a real on/off switch so you don't have to remove the battery when not in use for a long time if you don't want to.  Both the mouse and keyboard fit into my cargo pants/shorts pretty easily if I need to travel with them, and in conjunction with my phone, it provides a workable solution for getting stuff done.   But I still bring a netbook if I'm going to travel longer than just an afternoon.

This could be an episode of The GabCast

This is basically how I spent 40% of my time at my last job.  Ridiculous.  Except that I was the only native English speaker in my meetings.  Most were from India or China.

Ha!  Sounds like a mistake for most of the current shows posing as sitcoms. It all went south when "Friends" appeared.  Damn Courteney Cox should have stuck to Springsteen videos.

There have been a few decent comedies since- Curb Your Enthusiasm & It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia come to mind, but yeah, the "sitcom" is pretty much a dead horse.

Late night needs a vag host. The actress that plays the cheerleader coach on Glee might be good for this. Definitely not Lena Dunham

If it is a woman then my tip is that it will be Chelsea Handler.

But I keep hearing they want Stephen Colbert.

Seinfeld would be a home run too, obviously.

Am I like the only person who likes Craig Ferguson?  His standup is good as well....  I guess that means Drew Carey might also be a choice

Ferguson is funny and smart, but late-night chat is mostly just schmoozing and glibness, isn't it?

For CBS it would be a Grand Slam but for Jerry it seems like it would be a step back considering that he would probably make more money and have less pressure/stress watching it from home.

Having been a fan of Craig back in his wilder days, you've no idea how weird it is to see him playing chat show host on  mainstream american tv. He does it really well, though.

On to other business now: does Art's non-compete cover tv?  :D

According to him he is prohibited from all forms of broadcast including some not yet invented.  "Face for radio" comes to mind though.

First business.... I wonder if Craig and Drew still swap big dick jokes?

On to Art...

He has done comedy in the past.

This, Larry King Live, George Knapp, and I think Millenium are the only TV appearances I can think of that he's agreed to.

I picked-up an inexpensive indoor antenna several months ago.  It works amazingly well for picking-up the numerous local stations in the area.  Most of the time the tube is tuned to the local Me TV outlet.

With the recent announcement that RetroTV will be broadcasting MST3K episodes beginning on July 5th, antenna television is looking better all the time. They have the rights to 26 episodes, and while not a lot, still excellent to be riding the airwaves again.

While the pharaohs have become reclining husks akin to dessicated horned ancient astronaut locusts waiting for a never coming Judgment Day, Mystery Science Theater 3000 will never die.

NICE i forgot bring to light the April 1st airing of Total Riff Off on Nat Geo, with each show being 1 hour but demon bat was their one episode they followed one story the entire time, the rest was 5-10 minute jabs at various shows.  Either way the 3 hours of this plus it's 3 hrs of repeats where all #1 in their time slots - beating out S.H.I.E.L.D's return episode too.  SO these guys still got it that's for sure. Check out rifftrax.com for more info and they do a pretty good job on most movies i've listened to.  About 25 in total viewed.

Great stuff!

PS daily motion i think it is, and def. youtube have every episode of MST3k post/prior Joel.

Even though I can't get the network where I live, that's great news!  Maybe one of these days Comedy Central will start showing it again.  It's one of my all time favorite shows and I have about fifty or sixty episodes on tape.  I know they have them all on YouTube now, but it's fun to watch the tapes to see the old commercials and Comedy Central show promos.

I caught that by sheer chance and it made my night!  I rarely watch NatGeo any more because of all the reality crap, but I surfed by and stopped when I heard Mike Nelson and Kevin Murphy.  It sounds like the show happened because someone with some pull in the programming department is a big MST3K fan, so I'm hoping they turn it into a series.

Hot damn break out the Hamdingers.  I just noticed the infamous WalMart had the same RCA antennae I've got on sale for $10.00.  Now if I could just move to Tennessee, chaw tobacco, drink moonshine, and rock on the front porch with granny, things would be perfect.  See other thread.
