Weekend's coming up, what are the current Vegas odds of another Bellgab shutdown happening?

I'm prepared this time. I've printed out every page of BellGab and also legally renamed my kids after popular BellGab characters.

The GNS thread would make a good screenplay.

"Falkie, go and do your homework and you can stay up to watch television. And, no, I won't lend you fifty bucks."

"Paladin, stop punching Falkie in the face, you know she doesn't like it"

The fix you say?  Why, I heard that a shady looking character was seen lurking near the server room wielding a hammer and waiting for MV to show up.

I believe that would be considered child abuse sir.

In my defense, I'd just like to say:

Joey Buttafuoco

Not that it mitigates anything.  I just like saying the name, it gives me giggles...

edit:  I know, but still Joey Buttafuoco...

I also remember her from "Different Strokes" and its short lived spin-off "Hello, Larry". I had the biggest crush on her as an 8 year old turd.

"Ah, Come on, Dad!  She keeps on saying things!"

Whoever you named after (Redacted) may grow up with an identity crisis.

Eddie Coyle

Letterman's final guests next week include Bill Murray and Tom Hanks. What is it, June, 1993 all over again? Yawn. At least the final musical guest is Bob Dylan instead of that bore Springsteen.

Eddie,

Disappointed here as well---and only an hour finale.  So much potential.  I still remember the awesome stuff they pulled off over on NBC before his "big" move to CBS.  So much comedy missed.

Chirp  :(

Having one's name (Redacted) does take some getting used to.

He should have Norry and Bill Mumy as guests. Hilarity would ensue.

Interestingly Bill Murray was his first guest on the NBC show and Tom Hanks was his last guest on his NBC show. My mild OCD likes bookends like that. Other than that I could take it or leave it.

Letterman has coasted for nearly two decades. I watched fanatically from 1983-1995, but he got so complacent at CBS and took no risks. Formulaic and stale. And 11:35 meant "bigger"(duller) guests. He was bitter and funny at NBC. At CBS, bitter and richer.

Last musical guest at NBC(6/25/93-my full fledged OCD makes me do that) was Springsteen. I'm eternally grateful that he's not going to be there...I HOPE.

The Letterman of 1982 would do that. And it would rule.

For whatever reason always liked abandoned places and images of such. But this one was weird because of the graffitti. Only Italians would still keep aesthetics in their decline and vandalism.

The products most Googled in every country of the world in one crazy map

Wow. I would've though "LAND" would be the most google-searched on the ocean and sea portions of the world. Glad to see Australian is looking to reproduce (I guess all the beer drinking has lead to need to IVF?) to keep the yellow peril at bay. We Americans just want to patent our shit and cash out of the game.

The NBC years were great, my favorite bits were "The Guy Under the Seats" and "The Library Lady", there were so many others too.  I taped the show each night to watch the next day, reusing each tape until it wore out, if only I'd saved some of them but videotapes were expensive back then.
