There seems to be quite a few articles and the like out there talking about Australia and Victoria's 'success' at containing the virus outbreak while glossing over the fuckups that caused it, how long we've been essentially locked down (ie from March), and the various negative effects that everyone here has been feeling. That sounds like utopia. For me it's a tossup between China's methods and Australia's. Both sound like they have defeated the virus using science with minimal disruption and as much freedom as their citizens should be allowed.

*I'm looking forward to Justine locking down Canada. Now that Biden has been declared the president by the CBC, he has started with the threats. I think he's hoping that Joe will lock down the US so that he can follow suit.
