Made another track tonight, its not really finished but what i got so far is electronica of some kind, and an ode to mystery and its fragile nature, so i called it fragility:) http://picosong.com/kyCF

Nice. I've been listening to ur tracks all afternoon while playing final fantasy 3.
Quote from: Falkie2013 on November 28, 2013, 06:01:04 PMNever seen any of those movies, vagually heard about A Team but not seen it:)
Then how do you explain crap like The A Team, The Green Hornet ( car and Kato cool, hero dweeboid ) the Dukes of Hazard, Sahara, etc. They and so many others sucked yet someone or some studio financed them.
Quote from: Falkie2013 on November 28, 2013, 04:14:58 PM
I think its because many of the people at studios aren't like the people who ran Hollywood in its golden age. They totally disregard tradition, the mythos created for years with characters ( like calling the S on Superman's suit a symbol of hope ) and do so many things that are either revisionist or politically correct or both.
Quote from: littlechris on November 28, 2013, 03:11:43 PMYes, hard to find a good movie these days, E.T. was one of a kind.
Oh i know, I LOOOVED that movie when I saw it as a kid at the theaters!! One of the best movies made. Too bad they dont make good movies anymore. Ive seen 3 movies in the theaters the last month and theyve all SUCKED!!!!!!!
Quote from: starrmtn001 on November 28, 2013, 03:05:34 PMThat image is so cool, im a HUGE fan of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, i still remember the day i walked out of the theatre at 12 years old, in awe:)
Happy Thanksgiving littlechris. I concur with maren about the Norman Rockwell on the wall.
Nice touch.
Quote from: Seraphim27 on November 28, 2013, 12:41:14 PMCool, lol about your mothers meltdown:) iv put some of my stuff on soundcloud, but because of the 2 hour limit id have to pay to be able to upload more, but list of mostly recent ambient&chillout tracks i made here: https://soundcloud.com/agothx/sets/ambient-chillout-tracks
I love your music. Do you have it on SoundCloud or anywhere else, or just YouTube?
I'm listening to it now, after my mother just had a hysterical meltdown over the turkey. It's helping me get my blood pressure back down.
Thanksgiving is so friggin' stressful in our house. And with my dad not here, it's really sad and weird this year. I tried to talk my mom into going out to dinner or something, but she is insisting on still doing the whole shebang. And she's crying the whole time.
So mainly I'm holed up in my room watching "Cops" and popping in and out of this place.
Fun times!
Quote from: Zenman on November 26, 2013, 09:57:30 PMSorry for the late answere but i mainly use FL Studio nowadays as sequencer, Cakewalk sonar before, and the instruments are mostly various Kontakt Libraries, and some east west quantum leap:)
Agothx, may I ask what you compose on?
Quote from: Zenman on November 26, 2013, 09:23:19 PMTnx, well definately listened to both of those a lot so influenced for sure:)
Nice soundtrack, Agothx. I'm going to guess that Stravinsky and perhaps Prokofiev have influenced your composing. Good stuff.
Quote from: Suzeca on November 26, 2013, 07:57:00 PMThe audio for the current stream have been absolutely great for the last 20 minutes, was a bit metallic the first half hour or so but been great quality for a while now, im critical listener lol:)
Holy Cow Art has alot of shows lined up since yesterday
Stream is once again great. Sitting out in the company yard with a weak signal but no buffering and very clear. Way better audio than Seriously Stupid.
Quote from: Seraphim27 on November 26, 2013, 06:02:47 PMhehe, im nothing less of a geek, i visited seconf life a few times but ended up in entropia universe if you know it, its similar in some ways, played that heavily over the years. Also visited Active worlds heavily in the early days, active worlds was like a second home and world for me back 15 years ago or so:)
Her pic on the November 24 post is a Second Life avatar. I know because, well, *cough*, I hear that's what they look like.
OK, whatever. I'm a geek. I hang out in SL sometimes. I wish I knew who she/he is inworld, as we fondly refer to it.

Quote from: lonevoice on November 26, 2013, 03:51:31 PMtnx, and wow that was a really great read:)
Just lovely, Agothx. I'm not usually a fan of electronic music, but your soundtracks are exceptional. I just tried reading last night's Seraphim27 post about her father while listening to your Christmas song soundtrack. Oh my...transcendent.
If you like, give it a try and see what you think.

Velkommen, min venn. (I don't speak Norwegian, just a quick babelfish translation, I hope it's correct.) Your musical scores are outstanding! I listened to both the dramatic UFO one (in full tempo, I like it best) and the second one you linked, "bellisimo." The grand cinematic atmosphere in both of these is beyond impressive.
If one of the "Dark Matter" podcasters doesn't try to engage you in a BIG hurry to provide some original musical content for their shows, they are going to be missing out on a wonderful thing. The evocative nature of your music suits the paranormal themes of "Dark Matter" podcasts so beautifully, both your darker tone in the UFO sequence, and the lilting, mystical tone in your "bellisimo."
You are so talented! Post often, your English is excellent.
Quote from: littlechris on November 26, 2013, 01:31:26 PMPersonally i listen to noory now and then if the guest is interesting, some guests i will hear no matter who the host is etc, i prefer knapp over noory thou, and sad that ian punnet had to quit. I listened to noory for a few years but he did get worse and worse, he wasnt that bad in the beginning etc, at least had some good shows, but over time he seems to be listening less and less and asking more and more standard questions that doesnt jive with whats beeing said
Same here, i wont go close to the radio if I know Snoorey will be on. I did hear a little of Knapps interview the other night on the dyatlov pass. Ill try to listen to Batemans interview tonight.
Quote from: Falkie2013 on November 26, 2013, 01:21:21 PMYout right, i made the track before the animation as an attempt to make a sortof horror movie score like thing and made the animation after and guess made a bit ominous version of it for the animation, but i mostly make much 'nicer' music, like this:)
That music is a bit too ominous. I expect the alien axe murderers to land and start hacking away at any minute.
Nice job on the animation though.
Quote from: maureen on November 26, 2013, 01:10:42 PMTnx, i thought it would fit in a dark matter forum as well, i make a lot of music and 3d but think this actually fits here so:)
nice work, Agothx
