Shaz- enough with censoring your fucking screen grabs. I'll go through and find those posts and do it right if I have to. If you can't play the game get the fuck out of here and take that judgemental voyeur Meister with you. What a worthless cocksucker. Seriously.

Even on a "Let's Make Fun Of Dummies" thread, the saying is true. "If you want something done right..."

Alright, F Troop, saddle up and move out. By twos. Humiliation, ho!
Well, being on bellgab under my true name requires I not subject myself to undue liability.

I laugh at the dumb... not the individual dummy.

In a stunning return to form... Shaz walks the line! It's all fun and games until you screen grab a judge's daughter.
Surely you jest sir, nobody gets preferential treatment in America.
Particularly not a judge's daughter. ::)

I don't think Art could handle it.

Question is... will it be in 4K?
4k for a tv?
Ok, but do you promise it has the telepathic channel?
Take a check?

Kind of has some kick to it... guy takes over all the tv's, make a telepathic link to everyone and just schools the world symaltainiously.
Being born in Missouri, I'm gonna have to see that. I'm always down for a quick telepathic world takeover.

How long do I have to get a tv?

My thanks to all who shared a kind word about the gif sorcery. You might be blindly evil, but you're still a vaguely lovable lot.
I'm late to the party, nice work... I felt guilty laughing at first.

I can't be the only one thinking it, is there going to be a sequel?
That could have been the prequel... just after the boardroom meeting. They were about to "cross the chasm" to meet MV with a bag of loot.

I still would like an explanation of "captive ringing" and the secret of how you could get into Art anytime you wished.
ps: that google dream image you posted is going to give me nightmares. That is a weird project and doesn't portend well for AI if THAT is how skynet will see the world!
pps: keep on fidgeting!
I discovered (through trial & error) in the mid-90's that when you "got the ring" while calling Art's number, the phone would ring two minutes and three seconds. I also checked how fast the phone system would "hand-off" the ring from one call to the next, it was close to instantly. I figured out the broadcast delay, and listened for Art's "clearing the line" as he would hang up on a caller, set my timer... and would be dialing in with two lines (nearly) symaltainiously right at the 2 min 3 second "sweet spot" when the line would be open... as long as Art had not gone to that line again, thus resetting the clock.
There are a bunch of variables, and it was as much guesswork as luck/skill... until I "got" the ring. At that point I could keep it easily be calling on a second line (before 2 min 3 sec) at the exact moment I hung up... thus "capturing" the ring.

Aww.... shucks! Here I am lumped in with a bunch of trolls. Try to get a meeting/hearing for more than a decade... tell my true story in the only real free speech forum for free-thinking Art Bell listeners... and Art still won't lift his arbitrary knee-jerk public blacklisting. Whats worse is now he is subjecting the whole site to public degradation.

My true story/situation lumped in with a "viper pit"?

I feel damages.

She did, then gave out her email to drum up support. Heather sounded absolutely bonkers on the Gabcast, so anything she says is questionable at this point. Peter Eberhardt didn't tell her that the program wouldn't sell because she's a woman and only leveled with her about her performance (which probably came as a shock, given Art's "she's getting better every week" fluff), getting fired in the process. What we're witnessing are the death throes of a network.
So is it all about mental health, really?
Bonkers has a rich tradition here at bellgab:

Varying degrees of radio bonkers ever since.

Now I have been credited with advanced bonkers myself, constant demonstrated bonkers... in fact.

In all seriousness, someday Art will have his fair share of well prepared crow for his unwillingness to engage me in dialogue. The fact is his "legacy" includes turning his back on me, and his listeners... in my case. You know it Art.
He will open the door, as I've said before... because it will be in his perceived best interest. When academia gets done acknowledging, and defining these devices... the history of them will be documented... and the 19 year (+?) blacklisting he oppressed me with will be a depressing footnote of historical curiosity.

Bell will never call in.
Sure he will, right after he apologizes to me in my thread for his ostrich ways... he'll want to lift his 19 year blacklisting on the air... like he made it. ::)
I promise. ;)

In an alternate time_line Art kept in touch with me. He got to the bottom of his question "Why would they write 1970?", everyone got their fidgets, I toured the country calling in from payphones... putting people on the air with Art, while giving away free fidgets.
Then there was the utopian delusional time_line... Art realized that "free time machines" was a pretty good promotional hook... he met with me, evaluated my documentation, and lifted his 19 year old blacklisting. The New York Times did a story about it, people flocked to the subscription page to get a free time machine, and we were all "vaguely lovable" after all. It was great. He even read the comic book.

But alas, what we have is the ostrich time_line. :(

I suggested to MV privately that "Bellgab" could simply expand the definition of "Bell" beyond "Art" Bell to perhaps infer the "Liberty" Bell... BellGab, where free speech rings, like it or not.
I would suggest the attached public domain image (or a great new derivative) as a logo. He did not hate the idea. What do you think gabbers? Can free speech be "vaguely lovable" enough?
