Just listened to Art Bell on Gabcast http://ufoship.com and I got to say , what a show !

Guys you did a great job interviewing Art and it was great to have the chance to hear Art's take on a post Dark matter world .

I must say , I was encouraged by Art's comments on challenging the non compete claus and actually being able to hear Art speak in his own defense was great . I have no doubt that Art did want to do his show and was not looking for a way to back out of radio as many of us have judged him as doing , myself included. For that I must apologize .

This show was also the first time that I have ever herd Art speak so candid about Coast and George and just in case you are wondering , yes Art also laughs at Georges onair stupidity and then turns him off just like the rest of us .

Anyway , great show guys and hope Art can get back on the air soon .

Would also add to that list a podcast called " Smells like human spirit".

His series on the book Propaganda was pretty dam cool

And hey what the heck , since Art made it fashionable to pay monthly to listen to audio we should also mention audible audio books

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History is da shit folks

Would also agree with the other posters .. Joe Rogan can be very entertaining depending on the guest and TWIT can also be very entertaining.

Look forward to seeing what some of the other members think

Art just go back to XM assuming they will still take you back as the Internet streaming may not be exactly what you expect

Does Art or XM own "Dark Matter" ?

I was listening on my phone app and had no issues at all .

Could this problem not be resolved by XM making a pc and a mac app rather then a Web based login , as it seemed to do the trick on the smart phones

But , yes but , having said that maybe Art just doesn't want to do the show and was looking for an excuse to get out of his commitments.

You know in a way I feel sorry for him . I see him as an insecure person being controlled and manipulated  buy those around him / smarter than him , for their own goals .

People who are constantly seeking approval , such as George , are easily controlled .

Sad thing is , he is probably a nice guy who is deeply troubled and just wants his recognition .


If he had only gotten over all the mental bull and just applied himself from the start things could have been a lot different .

I enjoyed the show but was hoping for more . Art has done some classic shows with Mike in the past and this time around Art didn't seem able to get away from the Alien question .

Not sure why but Art seemed uncomfortable right from the on set of the interview.

There is a lot to Mike and he is a fascinating guest , to bad we didn't get the show that both Art and Mike were capable of delivering
