You can lead a horse to water, but you shouldn't look him in the mouth. Or something like that.

Yeah, you guys are right. Anyone over 50 can't learn new skills or improve. Poor George, he's past 60! Premrat should obviously fire him and hire a 20-something that costs less and presents fewer liabilities.

SR-71

George don't feel bad congress also sucks too

I think Wells might be older than Noory-or at least he looks older.

Dave Noorie's infomercial is still on the air?  PremRat must be happy the Carnivora is flying out the door.

I found a new sponsor for Snoory. It would be a perfect fit.

I just wish the guest would have snuck in an "I'd buy that for a dollar."

Hahahahaha! That's a better fit for Jorch than 'To Serve Man'.

Hi, what's up "Haters"!!  And, I say that as a good thing!

bmcintyre

Me too.  Ten years of putting up with George, being his buddy, buying his crap, literally.   Feeling bad that he worked on the holidays.  God, he's like a Mother with those guilt trips.

Ah sarcasm, cool. I think when referring to George and his age, we are specifically talking about george and his age. George couldn't learn any new skills anyway past 15. Ask his ex wife.

Jorch said he doesn't challenge his guests because that isn't what his show is about.  The guests have a forum to discuss their work (hawk their book) and its up to the audience to make up their minds.

A guest told me him and other guests are more than happy to put up with Jorch's bumbling for a few hours because they sell a ton of books from the exposure.

C2C is literally a long commercial interrupted by 90 minutes of other commercials.

His show isn't about anything, much like his personality.

I'm going to write a book about talking to dead cat spirits.   Joorch and I will talk and I will sell millions of books.

Hello Art. The email was sent today to your mindspring address.
As for the twitter feed on Oates. That was actually sent to my weekend webmaster Friday night....it was posted a day and a half later.
This has been a HUGE misunderstanding. and you are the ONLY person who knows I would never hurt you

ZOMG.. wish I had joined this forum sooner. You know, if a rat could only talk when it was backed into a corner...  ::)

Looks like John B. Wells nabbed Jesse Ventura as his guest for this Saturday night, got him before Noory could to talk about his new JFK conspiracy book?

Perhaps premiere has something to be worried about?  Wonder if john b will get promoted? Now that would be weird,
when I hear john b I sometimes forget and think its Art, they sound too alike lol

Something tells me John b will start getting the better guests as the suits figure out what direction they will take. There
is just too much flack hitting snoory and I dont think they see a recovery anytime soon. Even more so that Art is back  8)

How long ago was it that Ventura ditched The Wigged Retard (Wetard? lol) at the last minute before showtime?  Has he been on since w/Jorch?

I noticed that since last years ghost to ghost was so pathetic that this year, Jorchie is taking emails of ghost stories to get the best ones like Art.  I will probably listen after Spooky Matter but this time I'm not listening to the whole show hoping for shit to smell better when it sucks.

Dr. Peter Breggin on George's favorite subject: Why people are whacked-out so much all the time these days.  Lee Billings on space and time and all that good stuff in between.  Both segments were actually alright, with George in more of a conversational mode than index card flipper.  George is under the impression that one of the official functions of the Vice President is to oversee NASA.  Yeah, article 65, section 40 of the constitution clearly states that "the Vice President shall manage any and all future space agencies."  And time travel too.  George and Tom found time to chit chat about the "Beyond Belief" show.  Evidently Tom is in charge of that also and George asked him how he came up with the name of the show.  Tom said he wanted to convey the idea that "unbelievable things" would be discussed.  Tom also said he's planning on taking calls during the show.   That George couldn't be bothered with coming up with a title for his own show is curious, but not surprising; that producer Tom can be so predictable, and unimaginative, and lame, and employed, is stunning.  Lee Billings used the word "vainglorious" tonight.  I had never heard it before.  Although a little too fancy for everyday use, I think I like it.

Sounds like a win-win for PremRat/Jorch and the guest.  A big loss for the listener.

Get it!  That is why we have been referred to as losers.

Max_TO

Has RCH appeared on Coast since reconnecting with Art or has he dumped coast like a bad habit ?

If RCH does do coast again I predicte George spends most of the time fishing for compliments and reassurance from his science advisor .

RedMichael

If Jorch's job isn't to challenge, engage, or even have real discussions with the callers...then what the hell is he there for? What exactly is his job?

How can people make up their own minds when all we get is one side of the story and a very limited selection of generic low ball questions and/or worthless caller interaction that is neutered well before they come on the air?

At the same time, guests have free roam to blast their critics. People that usually don't have a voice or podium to express their views with. That is worse than "challenging" he is letting his guests shit on these people. That doesn't make anysense and is hypocritical.

If anyone here listened to one of Bell's new shows I can't imagine them listening to another C2C show. Bell doesn't go for the throat nor does he lob low balls (except to push things along). And at least gives the callers a chance to challenge the guest. A bad call is still great radio with Bell. A Great call on C2C is still terrible radio.

As each day passes I find more and more reasons to not listen.... well on my way to being Snoory free.  I'm using the Art Bell two step program....

1. Turn off Noory
2. Turn on Art Bell

Jnthn932

Noory sucks so bad that even when Arts show is over, I still find myself tuning into an old Art show instead of the current Dave Noorie disaster. What a tool. This may have already been discussed, but did anyone see him on the view? He was waving his hands and arms around like a crazed buffoon. You just know the government saw it and was think, you see!! THIS is why we don't tell y'all anything!!
