If you haven't listened to the March 13th show, MV was speaking about any business's fiscal responsibility to use every legal deduction available to them.  He didn't mention his possible forthcoming cruise in conjunction with the tax discussion.

He just got me to thinking about it.

It got me thinking also. Several years ago a local investment advice radio guy, maybe he was syndicated also, called it in from a boat in the Mediterranean. It was sort of funny at the time because there were these little old ladies calling in concerned about their SS and widow's meager pensions etc and he was advising from some sailing boat in the Mediterranean. And I was thinking:
1) there seems to be an odd disparity between the financial situations of the clients/callers and the broker/adviser
2) since he did his show was he deducting his travel or boat rental or some portion of it
