So we all know there are wildfires going on in Canada.  Trudeau, feminist folkhero and reminder of Ramadan, decided to reject the help of ally nations such as America, and he even rejected help from Russia, who both were willing to send auxiliary firefighters to help.

What did this bumbling cuck Trudeau do instead?

He decided to fly African firefighters all the way from South Africa!  Brilliant idea!  What could go wrong?

Well first, Trudeau decided they would increase the pay of these African Firefighters to be on par with Canadian firefighters, which you can read about here:

Whelp, the African firefighters are now on strike over pay disputes, and are refusing to work and are being flown back to South Africa. Hooray!

According to a Globe and Mail report, several members of the firefighting team met with a South African official to discuss terms of their payment on Tuesday, at which point it was made clear that 70 per cent of their daily stipend would be withheld until they returned home. The next morning, all 300 firefighters refused to work.

"This was discussed with firefighters before their departure to Canada and everyone signed this agreement," the Working on Fire statement said.

Just found a first hand account of the African Firefighters:

I am an Alberta firefighter working in Fort Mac at the same camp as the African firefighters. They are terrible. They went on strike the last two days because they wanted to get paid Canadian wages.

We are now paying them more than many of our own firefighters. And they have had ten days of training in fire fighting. Ever. So they're good for basically nothing.

Oh and they brought the wrong boots so the government bought them all brand new boots. All 300 of them.

At dinner they were eating steak with their hands. Just picking them up and gnawing on them like animals. For the last two days they've just sat around. Or roamed the camp in packs. Leering at everyone.

Our government paid god knows how many hundreds of thousands of dollars to bring these untrained people here. Pay and house then even while they're on strike and now we are overpaying them to do basically nothing.

And this at a time when our province is really hurting. Massive economic downturn, Fort Mac critically damaged with the cost in billions.

What a fucking joke.

Why 300 South Africans are fighting to save Fort McMurray

As the Globe and Mail’s Geoffrey York reported, the South African government “sees it as re-paying a debt to the Canadian people for their support for the anti-apartheid struggle.”

“As South Africans we feel indebted to the Canadian people,” a senior South African official said at the departure ceremony. “Remember that these are the people who stood on our side in our times of trouble, so today we are paying back.”

A month later the only international support Trudeau has decided to allow to help is untrained African firefighters who have already gone on strike and refuse to work, and really didn't do anything to help fight the fire.
