I find her hair trigger emotional fragility [emphasis added] an indication of sexual intimacy between them or is it mostly fake?  :-X

Alas, it is not fake: Heather has been putting her emotional fragility on display like some sort of hideously swollen baboon's arse for the past 2.5 years.

Give a listen to the first audio clip (dating from c. 11/16) in this post:

http://bellgab.com/index.php?topic=9159.msg966134#msg966134

Then listen to this one (dating from roughly a year later):

Are those clips indicative of a host who is capable of taking the rough with the smooth?  A host that can make a point without making an enemy?  What do you think?

I know what I think: that Heather has spent her entire adult life driving around a little girl's emotional outlook in a big girl's body and her quest to become a "radio personality" has only served to make this even more painfully apparent.  How else to explain the first part of the last sentence in this screenshot (which comes courtesy of Faustina via Grifynne's "the story so far" post of the 10th inst.):

QuoteArt is no longer here to help me...

Good God, Heather: Art has been helping you for the past two-and-one-half years.  What, exactly, was left for him to do for you at this point?  Adopt you?  Was there ever going to be a time when you were going to let go of the man's pantleg?  It sure doesn't sound like it.

(And, yes, I understand that there was [allegedly] friction between Keith and Heather long before Heather got the chop.  However, making professional relationships work is what adults do.)

One thing I do not understand (and am not even going to attempt to at this point) is: how is getting minute-by-minute updates from Paul and Ella on the state of their/their dog's bowels in some way preferable to, say, working as a greeter at the Pahrump Walmart?  I'm serious: attempting to appeal to the Paul-and-Ella demographic for a living is better than working an anonymous job where no one expects you to give a toss about them?  Really?

Heather seems hell bent on driving what little remains of her micro-celebrity right into the ground.  I am hoping that an 11th-hour outbreak of Good Sense will (somehow) occur and she will finally come to terms with the fact that she is simply too self-conscious for a job that depends on her being able to step outside herself and empathise with others, if only for a time.

(Perhaps wishing for Good Sense to ultimately prevail in this trainwreck is what they mean when they talk about "hope triumphing over experience"?)  :(

I will have very dramatic and shocking news about Heather Wade in 2 or 3 days to announce.
Just working on few details with couple of sources.
If it's true, she is going down.
Heather is Art’s love child and assisted in his suicide on Friday the 13th.  Close?

But...it line A longer than line B?  Tizzy needs to know!

I checked to see if there is a full moon tonight to see if we can get the full motherlode of crazy spewing forth...

98.9% full tonight.

Tomorrow may be the portentious day.

I do believe we are approaching the perihelion of crazyfuckedupshit in this sad and sorry (but nonetheless extremely enjoyable) tale.

Lawn chairs and welding masks at the ready.

It's quite simple, really. You see, after he was hacked, those altered comments were taken out of context. Belgabbers then seized this opportunity to create a rift between Vara and Dark Matter. This left Vara no choice but to hire Heather in retaliation - per request by Art in his suicide note.
Am I missing anything?..

Your capture shows Vara at his weakest.  The tell is that 'Heather will take back the night.'   And save his BS LNM.

The only thing I can compare her to - as a total amateur with zero experience being given this position - is players from the sports world being given spots broadcasting games or on a sports talk show when their playing days are behind them.

They are mostly all terrible starting out, some drop out and some of the others improve fairly quickly.  It's surprising how well some of them do after a few months.

Heather stinks.  She's absolutely horrible, and simply doesn't have the aptitude for the job.  No matter what Art Bell said, and no matter what Art Bell said ''people he respected in the industry'' said.  No matter how much she wants to do it.  Wanting to do it and being willing to put in the hard work are often enough, but not for this particular job.

So what you're saying is that SV is more than just passable...well that makes sense.

You have got to stop breaking into homes and sniffing underwear...you're on probation.

I used to think George Noory was bad, that he didn't have the aptitude, skills, or basic body of knowledge of the world around him to be a nationally syndicated talk show host.  He doesn't even speak the language well.  It was inexplicable that he held onto his job, and that PremRat seemed quite happy with him.

The gap in talent and listenability between Noory and Heather is far greater than gap in talent and listenability between Art Bell and George Noory.

I'm optimistic that Heather's show will take off for real tonight. If it doesn't, I can only conclude that her heart really isn't in it and that she's just been spinning her wheels and jerking people around for the last 6 weeks.

Thats the thing that makes this all so humorous,  (Redacted)  almost makes Snoory sound good.  :o

At the very least, she made Snoory seem like a nice person.
