I've heard it over and over from Heather et al, and so many other unsuccessfull podcasters.  They divide their listenership into "the good listeners" and "the bad listeners"...  like there is such a thing as a "bad listener".

You are right, there are no bad listeners. Look at Howard Stern, people hated his ass and still listened because they wanted find more things to hate about him. He loved it because it was more listeners.
