In PL/I you could write some insane shit, there are no reserved words. It iis all context sensitive and you can implicitly declare variables, but if you don't, the compiler uses the old fortran rules for determining variable types using the first character of the variable.

So "if" can be the start of an if statement, or it could be a variable of type integer depending on how you used it.

I stopped watching sports when I was 25. I had it up to here with the whiny overpaid pussies going out on strike when they couldn't make that extra million.  Add the steroids on top of it and I was out of there.  Give me Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb,  or Pete Rose.  I never watched much football but liked to play it once in a while.  Usually I cuddle up with a good book after sex and then go to sleep.

Correct on all counts ... except for the not watching sports part. I'll never abandon the gridiron greatness of Saturday and Sunday. Too much fun.

My hat's off to you.  I usually watch the Super Bowl but thats it.  Life's too short for me to spend 2 days a week watching sports. I've got too much stuff that I want to do.  My time of relaxation comes at night and usually I listen to Art when I'm not busy with the Mrs.

I started writing COBOL in the USAF. When there were delays in getting the Ada compilers certified they had us rewrite everything into PL/I because it was closer to Ada. All my PL/I programs looked like COBOL.  When I started working at NASA, all I Wrote was PL/I that looked like COBOL.  Very easy to understand and maintain. When I started my own company programming on the original 8088s and 8086, I wrote everything in Pascal that looked like PL/I that looked like COBOL.  Everything worked.

When I started c and c++, I almost went insane.

I almost never use my phone for more than talk, i rarely txt, to me its silly, if you want to get a hold of me CALL me.
I rarely use it to surf. I'm not one of those people that has eye's on the cell phone at all times and pays no attention to anything around them.
And i will NEVER buy a Apple product, but thats just me.
I currently have a HTC 1 M8, i dont really like it because its to big.
