On An Island was quite good!
His new album.. ive only heard the singles..  so Im on the fence.  Reminds me of his About Face album.

Have not listened to The Endless River.  ALthough I do Like PRE Dark Side Floyd the best.   Careful WIth THat Ax Eugene is my fave.   Listen to that in a dark room on Mushrooms.
I have literately EVERYTHING Floyd on my NAS, including bootlegs, i guess i just wanted the last album to be a masterpiece, and i dont think Endless River was that good

Fail Safe is definitely one of my favorite films of all time. The serious Dr. Strangelove. I remember the first time watching it as a teenager late night on TCM and having my mind FUCKING BLOWN by how intense that film was. God it's such a good movie.

It's entertaining, though.  No one (or at least only a very few people) actually believe the nonsense the hucksters come up with.  It's just fun entertainment.  I don't feel there's a problem with people making a living off paranormal entertainment.  Hell, Art Bell made his fortune doing it. :)

Sure, I usually don't have a problem with it. But it's nice to ground back to reality every now and again for me because no one on the dial is talking about nuclear threats in depth.

Hey Jaz, any luck contacting that dude that carted his wife & family off to Mt. Shasta to hide from the end of the world ?

Maybe he's embarrassed. :o

He probably just turned it into a relaxing wine-tasting vacation.

"Triple Mega Dittos" Great flicks!

Mild Bill

I need a good bat-shit crazy funny RCH to take the edge off this show.

I want Art to get SNowden so badly...  That would be the ultimate interview.

The CBS one with George Cloony? Sure did! Even that was excellent despite how gimmicky it was. Genocidal exhibitions sure can be entertaining.

I don't know. Going public like that . . . if he was killed, the media fallout would be off the charts . . . .

Three people in this thread remember this show.  I loved it too!  This is refreshing to me.  Cheers!  Face to face I've met no more than a dozen people who remember the show.
Make it 4. Hell, I even had a 4' plastic model of the Eagle ;)  The rockets & the command capsule separated from the cargo bay to combine into a shuttle craft. Martin landau & Barbara Bain. And yes, the costumes were very Logan's run-ish.
