No, not confusing just recalling various remakes. I never watched that Sherlock, call me racist. Kidding, but just don't want much tv and figured when I saw the promos, no thanks. Didn't like the new BBC show either. Basil or Brett rewatch instead. Speaking of which Milt Rosenberg had a fun show about Sherlock the other day. He has good radio show... in his 90's ans spry and smart....so Art and RCH have decades to go!!!!

I put an edit on my post but you got to it before it took.  I am with you.  I always enjoyed reading the books.  I loved Jeremy Brett as Holmes.  Used to watch that often.  Basil Rathbone is the classic.  The newer ones are difficult but I assure you I was skeptical.  The one I mentioned is quite good.  The one with Benedict Cumberbatch not so much.  I need to look into this Milt Rosenberg.
