Periscope views

Since I don't, and I am sure a number of others don't, have the ability to see the periscope views of Art during the show, I wonder if it would be possible for someone to post a few of the pics each night?

Perhaps it could be a thread all its own for each show.

Just an idea-this may not be feasible or easily done-just wondering.

Paradox

I have an ancient PC running Windows 7Pro.  I am, however on Twitter.  I was able to see Art on Periscope last night by clicking on the link he tweeted. It was wonderful!

Two issues.
1. I have no control over the sound and he was talking the same time the show was going.  Fortunately for me the sound level on Periscope was enough lower than the sound on the show that I was able to listen to the show.  When the breaks came on I was able to mute the show and listen to Art.

2. Periscope only shows a portrait formatted image-meaning that it is one of those skinny vertical videos.  This means that unless you are watching on a phone ( shows the vertical video natively) or on a tablet that you can turn so the image is upright, you watch it sideways.  I gather there are some add-ons or plug-ins for browsers that allow you to rotate the video, but they all seemed to reference youtube..  I have not downloaded one to try it out yet.  The good news is that Periscope's creator is promising to come out with a landscape format.  Not sure just when, but it is in the works.

I had originally thought that I would have to dl an emulator and then Periscope to watch, but was delighted to find that I didn't.  I will try to grab some stills or maybe even try a clip grab of the video and post it here the next time he uses Periscope.

So. . .next time he sends video with Periscope if you are on twitter try watching for the tweet he sends and click on the link.  You may find you are be able to watch it too.

I just watched it on my phone. I think the video stays up for 24 hours so if you have a smartphone there's still time to watch it.

It was cool, however I had to download Opera just to watch it..  Next time art could use something like Tinychat, low bandwidth and works on just about anything.
