I wish I could be there every night, but being the working, morning guy that I am ( and fairly good looking as well) I can't be there very often. Good Morning all,  I dozed off for the end of MITD, and missed the first hour or so of Nancy, so I shall have to catch the first part of Nancy with Coffee here in the Bella-Haven Cafe'  I hope serenity has his mysterious brew preparing in the back corner of the dungeon kitchen.  I was sad to hear Nancy mention Bella-Haven trolls striding back in today.  I did not see any trolls yesterday, only people interesting in challenging with opposing opinions, and looking for some challenging games of sea saw to enjoy with mutual respect. That is not my definition of a troll. IMO.  Of course I have no doubt of different interpretations of trolls by others.  Many people look far and wide to find a place where they can freely express their obvious complaints, the things that turn them uninterested.  Every place has things that turn them off, or even turn them away.Every listener is a listener/participant/customer wanting to happen, but finding themselves disapointed over and over.  Some of their complaints are valid in many instances, but If we immediately judge them as troll, and banish them to that category, the most profound opportunities for growth will have been tossed aside out of pride. And many listeners and supporters tossed away like garbage, who are often, Ironically some of the ones most likely to push that donate button.  This misperception/path of self destruction is alluded to in many myths and fairy tales, as many truths are.

You are a most unexpected surprise, one who can listen to something that they don't want to hear and take something away from it in order to grow.

My complaints are valid in my opinion, I don't rag on people just for the fun of it. There are legitimate social issues here and until pride and entitlement are put aside nothing will ever change.

This is not just a Bella-Haven problem but a problem that is indicative of the decay of our society. I hear people and yes predominately women,(ready for the flame) not bashing women just an observation, but I hear complaining that there is something wrong with the world, not enough love, not enough this or that. Instead of becoming a better person they become selfish and start feeling entitled to special treatment that is unrealistic. I brought a up a very real social issue in a constructive way, wr250 believes that any criticism is destructive however, but that aside all I received for it was hatred and anger. I am not whining about it I expected it, but only pointing out an attitude of small mindless that will only perpetuate the problems of the world.

No one can feel entitled, you are entitled to nothing in this world
No one can feel above reproach, we are answerable one to another
No one can feel special, no one is above the other

These attitudes only foster selfishness, closed mindedness and anger.

If this group of women want to have a show talking about the things that they like, so be it. I may or may not listen, but when talking about the things that you like involves hatred towards men, who many of you must enjoy the company of, then you are inviting "constructive" contribution from that group. Do you want your husband or boyfriend trashing you to his friends? Probably not but you are inviting it just the same. The adage that you should treat others the way that you would like to be treated is very real lesson.

Another attitude that is destroying families and society is, "I can say whatever I want, no matter how harmful but you cannot say anything in return or I will call you a hater, troll or worse". A very unrealistic approach to life and one that will leave you angry and full of venom. A lesson that each of you need to learn is when you say something that affects someone else they are "entitled" even invited to give a response. If you are too immature to accept the response then keep your comments to yourself.

This is the point I have been trying to make.

Show has improved leaps and bounds IMO. I have had three cups of coffee and almost half way through the work day. I always say I am going to try and make it to 3 am on a Friday, and I never make it past 12:30. LOL. I listen and call in to Rollye and the first half hour of Art, and then I'm like, I'm out.

If you have a show of any sort, and even if you provide no threads or chat rooms, there will be those who create their own,  that you will never see, and never know about, where they will talk and type about their own observations and opinions about the latest episode.  If these things cause Nancy stress and doubt, then I don't know what to say. Well,  I dunno, I think MV takes it all in stride pretty well, expects at least half the comments to be criticism I am sure, as most likely does Art Bell, has a great sense of humor, doesn't take himself too seriously, and is able to laugh at himself.  He is pretty lenient with the whip as well.  If you mean moderating for only allowing those that agree with Nancy all the time, only, and those that think each and every show is a masterpiece, then you might as well moderate me out right now. Sorry, I've never been very much of a "yes girl".   Love ya WhiteCrow, but listening to what you are saying, makes me think I really don't fit in here at Bella-Haven.  I hope I am wrong. Re listening to last nights episode now, I didn't get to finish last time I started before I had to leave.  I heard someone say "by invitation only chats"   lolslols  (I wouldn't be interested in being invited to anything like that). At this point, I wasn't at all surprised to hear that though.  I enjoyed the parts about Arts interesting guest last night. Since RH- was brought up during Arts show, and on Bella-Haven, I'm RH negative.  Please don't hate me because I'm negative lol's.  O- blood is universal donor blood.  AB+ is universal recipient.

I know YOU and serenity luffs me no matter WHAT WhiteCrow. That was never a question in my mind.  I wish I would have been awake last night during Bella_Haven.  I have a LOT of background I could have contributed. Although I was born and raised Roman Catholic, In my adult years I spent a meaningful amount of time as a Member of the Theosophical Society, suposedly a gathering of all metaphysical groups without judgement.  However, at a certain point, I found it to be too segregated for my personal liking, and so I left.  I would have called in to Nancy had I been awake.  I started falling asleep not long into Arts show, or I would have called into that one too. Expecially now that I have used skype with Chefist and have my new headset, just the one Nancy asked me to get.  I got it Brand New for $11:00 on Ebay. It was the only one left. I have to relisten to last mights MITD again now too, as well as Hoagie.  Mwahaha  A lot of listening to keep me busy over the weekend lol's.

It is my experience that you have people in private groups that support, and private groups that do not support, and trouble makers who move undetected between them both, that create more problems than a lightly moderated PUBLIC fourm could EVER cause.  Just my 2cents.

  For what it's worth my sentiments exactly.  Someone's always gonna  rain on the parade.  I guess they just don't have the jewels to create their own. The more talented you are the more jealousy and resentment you create in those less fortunate.

On the other hand, some people just enjoy raining on the parade   Look at Hoagie for instance.  He enjoys telling his ideas to the world, knowing FULL WELL there is a forum thread, supporting him by sharing chuckles at his expense.  And he accepts that.  I admire him and support Hoagie now, for those reasons, and because SaucyRossy is his new Producer

I luffs you too, brig, no matter what. That's just how it is. I also luff this bellgab forum, and this thread most of all. Even if it became nothing more than a food fight, I would still be proud of my part in the whole thing.

There are real people who are spoilers (trolls) and there are real people with legit things to say (LW) -- they are not one and the same. The ones who are trolls try to bust things up and shut things down, just for fun and profit, and Bella-Haven has been an easy target because we are new, amateur, and raw.

They have a harder time destroying things on Bellgab because the good MV has his strong banhammer. For that, we should offer up thanks and click on an ad every now and then ... and for baby's sake: Keep on posting.
