might be a repeat as there is nothing live on DMDN, according to the schedule, at the time you posted that

They usually repeat the previous day's shows, so it likely aired yesterday, either the one at 8PM or 9PM.

It's the one with the frenetic Englishman who tells ghost stories replete with sexual innuendos and dings a little bell after each one.  All while creeping on his American female co-hosts.

Eh, the charm wears thin after a while.  I hope he brings his little bell on Hoagie, though.

Sounds like he's been listening to Jorch with LMH.

..and here is the mysterious "M"  ,lol

*"His third wife, Mary Hickman, said she found a briefcase of documents relating to his first identity after he was arrested.
Hoagland told police he wanted to leave his second wife but did not want to get another divorce after being married to Linda for 11 years."*

NASA has an IV&V Facility in Fairmont, WV. They have a website. I was the PM for all of the IV&V projects on unmanned spacecraft  for low earth orbit. Contractors did all of the technical work.

Before that I worked for a company that began as Intermetrics->AverStar ->Titan -> L3 that did all of the IV&V on all of the manned programs and all of the planetary missions.

Basically a bunch of geeks trying to find something wrong with everything we looked at.

When we started we had to develop our own techniques for analysis of plans, requirements, design, code, test plans/scripts/results.

I worked with some very intelligent engineers and got exposure to a lot of cool technology. Developed a lot of cool technology too.
Holy smoke GS, you were the BMOC. I didn't realize you were that high up the ladder.
What process model did you generally use,  Waterfall, Evolutionary Development, or Component-based SE ?   Or did you use Agile and / or XP...     or a home brewed mashup that worked better for the team ?

Best answer is yes. For our own development we picked a methodology based on the criticality of the software. We had some people schooled in Agile, but not all. A lot of times we would do rapid prototyping and then go back and shoehorn it into CM using our own inhouse methods which were primarily waterfall or spiral. We had rather large reusable libraries which we blackboxed pretty well. Could have done that better if we didn't have to deal with so many platforms.

For the spacecraft projects, we had to adapt to whatever methodology the development team was using. Sometimes the developers were civil servants or universities but usually they were contractors like Orbital, Boeing and Lockheed which all had their own methods and software development plans. Languages and OSs included just about everything out there. Including Ada for the ISS and HAL/S for the shuttle.

At Intermetrics/Averstar, we actually maintained the HAL/S compiler. HAL/S was only used for the Shuttle, but I heard the USAF used a version of it for the original B-1 software.

LOL - Good answer.  ;D

Cross platform is a bitch, especially on a deadline. Ada is excellent for mission and safety critical RTOS. Redundancy.  High level assembly for the shuttle  makes sense. I didn't know you guys developed your own language for that. That fricken rocks !  :)

Hey, there's a gabcast rolling right now over @ ufoship. MV is interviewing a mortician. Just started at the bottom of the hour.  ;)

Made a mistake about the B-1. It didn't use HAL/S but it did have the same AP-101 computers. Basically a hardened version of an IBM 360.

Cubs lead 3-2 bottom 7th must win Game 5

Richard, Richard, tricky Dick,
What you're doing makes me sick.
I'm told that by letter I should make demand,
For the last five bucks you grabbed our of my hand.
So please post your address just for our kicks,
I'm certain it's PO Box six six six.
If I don't hear from you in a short time,
I'm reporting OSOM to the chisler hotline.

You can file a Complaint with the FCC-

https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us

By filing a consumer complaint and telling your story, you contribute to federal enforcement and consumer protection efforts on a national scale and help us identify trends and track the issues that matter most.

File a complaint
If your complaint is about a telecom billing or service issue, we will serve your complaint on your provider. Your provider has 30 days to send you a response to your complaint. We encourage you to contact your provider to resolve your issue prior to filing a complaint.

Consumer Complaints at the FCC
Issues Outside the Jurisdiction of the FCC
The Federal Communications Commission handles a wide range of telecommunications service and billing issues. However, some consumer concerns that may seem like they would be handled by the FCC are legally under the jurisdiction of other agencies.

The following are some issues that fall primarily under the jurisdiction of other federal agencies, along with the agencies most involved with those issues:

For false advertising, deceptive business practices, scams and debt collection, the Federal Trade Commission
For antitrust law, the Department of Justice
For disclaimers on medical/drug advertisements, the Federal Food and Drug Administration
For copyright violations and payments of royalties, the U.S. Copyright Office.

Other issues are primarily handled at the state level by public utility commissions. These include:

Burial of telephone or cable wires
No dial tone to local phone service
Stand-alone satellite TV billing, rates and programming
Installation of non-bundled service
Stand-alone cable TV service, rates and programming (not including basic tier)
Utilities other than telecommunications
To find your state PUC, check the website of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, or contact them at (202) 898-2200.

As a public service, the FCC does offer several consumer guides addressing issues for which we do not have primary regulatory jurisdiction. These include:

Cancellation, Rescheduling or Refusal of Radio and TV Programs
No Dial Tone â€" Local, Local Toll and Long Distance Calling
Complaints about broadcast advertising
Complaints about broadcast journalism

O Hoagie, tonight while the direwolves howl,
This light-hearted listener's smile is a scowl.
Your archives I sift for the gems they contain;
The rest is a cake that's left out in the rain.
With their soggy sustenance I'm not content.
We must have more shows if I keep paying rent.
For far too long now have I given a pass,
And 19.5 now says get off your ass.
Our own dear MV has just offered his best;
To my mind that hope constituted a test:
When you fail to take the warm hand that extends,
With your crazy ego I part -- not as friends.
Be damned to your tantrums, and damned to your rants,
Please wipe off your mouth there and pull up your pants,
Just run a fine brush through your white mane of hair,
Then fire up Skype, man, and get on the air.

Haha ballad meter is easy -- run that off by the yard
