Coral Castle Show

George had a good show recently and devoted the latter part to the Coral Castle.  It was generally a very interesting show which you could tell George genuinely had an interest in.  He did fine mostly, except for the last segment with callers.  There were several interesting call-ins and George absolutely cut them too short.  What several of these callers had was first-hand experiences and they added lots to the the discussion, some of which such as the lettering on an interior wall really wasn't discussed already.  George missed the relevancy of these completely and did his usual quick dismissal.  This is one of the things that separates the current C2CAM from Art's version.  Art would keep a caller on as long as the caller had something relevant to say.  I miss this as it actually discourages callers and in the process cheats listeners.  Sure, many callers deserve to be limited, or even disconnected in extreme cases, but this isn't being a host completely respectful of the listener much less the caller.
