So, about that Diplomacy game...

There are also a number of forum games that have been invented. They are like board games, except they get played on a forum, like this one. Rather off-topic I suppose, but Diplomacy is only tangentially a board game, it's all about communication.

I think Seraphim should play. That would be so cool. She can be Switzerland!

I have a copy of diplomacy coming from my wife, and I also have two digital versions of the game.  Once I've read through the official rules ( I know they're probably online but I'm too lazy to search especially when I want the game), I will start a diplomacy thread.  I see no reason why others not playing in the round shouldn't be able to enjoy the game too.  I think there will be parts that will have to be private mailed, but I am thinking about setting up something to facilitate gameplay.   So far though, only you and I have expressed interest Jackstar.    Seriously, no one else reading this thread is interested?      I'd be up for other forum games too.

When I was in the Navy we played the hell out of Axis and Allies. We would order pizza and get beer and play all night

What address do you give when ordering a pizza at sea?  Is it like the APO/FPO thing?  Do they still honor the 30 minute guarantee, Ah-mazing!

(edit: note to self, read entire thread before posting...)

This explains why he lives in remote uninhabited areas of the vast NW!! It was not a "portal", George- it was sex crime registrations and laws.

Bigfoot hunters are doing it all wrong, they simply need to get a copy of the sex offender list. Blamo! Bigfoot's home address!  :)
