About the show:
The duck adventure is growing on me, not sure why exactly. Maybe because I envy people like matt, who are willing to try new things, take advantage of the beautiful piece of land he has to raise his flock of food that will help sustain his family through the winter.There is something very primal with being self sustaining like matt appears to be. More people should have to raise their own food.

Matt isn't the smartest Muscovy in the flock and he tends to repeat himself to an annoying degree, but he is doing terrific. If he is representing himself accurately in his videos, the amount of progess and success he has achieved in his second duck season is quite amazing. Matt seems like a nice enough guy. He's hard working, well meaning and he is good with the ducks.

His ducks  have it quite good in terms of  free range animals. Watch matt's other vids on his channel about pin raised birds/livestock and you'll see the difference. He ends up kulling most of his flock in november/december for food anyway.
The animals look happy and well cared for & I'll bet they smell even better after roasting @350o

Alright, seriously I agree with you. It is interesting to watch some of the better videos, especially for urban people.
