I was listening to AI with Sir Charles last night and I was curious to know if Art might not go back to some of his really profound shows and if these people are alive, have them on to discuss just how accurate or not they were concerning their many forecasts.  Personally, unless there's a lot of secrets out there I did not think he really hit the mark. 

I could be wrong.  But once a week if he'd get the guest of a decade ago from what we would consider a Great show and just kind of ding him/her or ding ding him that would be 'Fascinating!'

  It would be hard to recreate what he had in the nineties, but he's still got the swing to find great guests. He just needs to be patient.   I really just like listening to Art's voice and his style of interviewing.  He's also got an aura of mystery around him that I find really attractive.  Great guests are icing on the cake but not essential for me.
  I imagine he's doing what he can right now to get back on the air. I do take him at his word.
He is mercurial though and changes quickly.  That's just the way he is, and I have to accept that.
One can speculate till the moon gives birth to cows but what's the use?

I called it from the beginning.  It's in my posts.  He WAS a bit riled up and now we know why.  He'll be back and he'll be relaxed and happy when things are how he hoped they'd be.

I was disappointed Art didn't have him on DM.  He was fantastic with Knapp.  It sure beat some whacko wizard talking about turning goats into a "unicorn" or some clown on Saturday nights brewing tea on a mothership.  :

I know.  I really think it's okay to not love something and say that if you want to on a forum.  I would have just fallen to sleep with a lower volume if I hadn't been here a couple times complaining myself.  You just can't love every subject or guest.  But I think my bigger problem was being here.  If I were just listening I would have never sat down and started bitching on a pad!  I would have just ff.  I do think when Arts back that he could easily have great guests every night. 

Is it that difficult to get them? I mean how many people write books about everything?  They're out there he just needs to find them.  Or maybe I'm full of shit and have no idea of what I'm talking about.  But I can dream.

I've grown to like  Paulides, too.  He recounts many interesting stories without trying to shoehorn them into some wackadoodle theory.  He's not without controversy, but still comes off as a reasonable guest who does his research.

Someone I really enjoyed and regret that it was not Art who did the interview was Ray Manzarek.  I don't know how many great interviews could have been done if Art had stayed on Coast but sadly there will be a good number that it will be too late for him to do .

I still remember Manzarek's description of Jim Morrison.  It was so cool I told several people about it.

George Carlin would be another and I'd like to see Art also talk to that Lutz guy from the haunted? Amityville house.  I've heard him before with other interviewers and he was good and focused, but he really sounded awful the last he was on Coast, not that long ago.  I think Art with Lutz would be a very good show.  Art knows how to ask the right questions.  I remember him being a bit scattered and what sounded like a depression not unlike wacko pammybob!  Only much nicer language and he didn't scare me at all or spew feces from his cavum oris propriumo.
