Since Amazon bought Goodreads (and before), they have been making a giant push to turn users into a sales force/customer service.

In addition to constantly spamming for reviews, they are now spamming for you to answer questions, example below:

Which is exactly why I do not ever respond to those hectoring, irritating demands repeated requests.

They've been doing it a while now.   It's even worse if you're a merchant.
