Art Bell Quits Dark Matter

Started by DesertFox, November 01, 2013, 08:13:24 AM

Could a non-compete keep Art from co-hosting a show? Would Art ever consider being a co-host?

It cheered my spirits considerably when Keith Rowland was running the test streams on the artbell.com website.  It didn't matter if it was Las Vegas air traffic control, Las Vegas police scanner, Michio Kaku on BBC, or War of the Worlds (although that was extremely cool!).  It was all good.

Doesn't he need to do some more testing?  Surely he does.  :-\

Is there a spot open on Dark Weekends?

So explain to me this, using your so called wisdom.

I make a decent salary as a software developer.  My manager makes around double what I make.  He's in his mid fifties.  He swears like a sailor and I work in an office environment.  By your definition this man is a loser.

Care to make any changes to your theory now?

He's crude and rude.

Oh yeh? Well what if he shows up in 15 minutes and specifically answers my question about Lou Reed? What then huh?

C'mon Art. Show up!

What if Lou Reed showed up and answered questions about Art?

They'd probably be minimal and enigmatic.

Withthat logic, the love of my life will show up in 18 minutes from space. ^^

In all seriousness, if they really did take away the Free Art Bell collage I think it's a good sign. How can it not be?

That's a good name for Coast to Coast.  You are on to something...I do not doubt you now!

Reading all the post that Art posted, and the Sirius drama ect I now realize that Art Bell is an autist

BUT HE'S STILL OUR AUTIST, DAMNIT!

Hey Unscreened Caller, sorry I went off on you like that.  But I don't like forum wars, especially when it's not necessary, and really especially when I belong to both, or all.  I'll do everything I can to nip a war in it's bud (or butt if you prefer).

Hey, no hard feelings, starr. I understand where you're coming from.   ;)

I should have checked my facts before posting. I love Bellgab and would defend it's honor if it had any, to paraphrase Groucho.

People don't bait the bears... they can take care of themselves.
See what happens when people and baiting bears come into contact in this video.

p90x is a miracle!

If George had a body like that 90% of the haters on this board would do him... Excluding me of course.

There's a hobo across the street from my house.

I'm going to ask Art a series of questions he might answer if he comes on tonight:

Art, what is your opinion of the Moon landings now? Fact or faked?
Art, what is your favorite Stanley Kubrick film? Mine was Dr. Strangelove but I wish it was in color.
Art, have you heard about some of the recent DNA testing on bigfoot? If so, what is your opinion?
Art, what was your reaction to Lou Reed's death? I was sad because I think he's one of the greatest song writers ever, but part of me was also happy because he had a lot of sorrow in his life and now I think he's in a better place. I do think it was shitty, though, that album he made with Metallica. Its what decadent rockstars do when there's no one there to tell them "no" anymore. Yes men are not good for anyone!
Art, do you plan to ever interview David Paulides? George Knapp is probably #2nd in the pantheon of paranormal interviewers and did a find job, but you're still #1 and if I could hear you interview anyone living, it would be David Paulides.

Thank you Art.

Art, what did you have for dinner?

I'd also ask him if his non-compete prohibits him from doing a spoken word rendition of Novalis's Hymns to the Night.

These kinds of posts show up all the time on reddit, usually with a series of pics.  I agree it is REALLY creepy :)  The most recent one I saw had a hidden spiral staircase behind a book case and when the guy followed it down he found a small room in the crawlspace that had a blanket, pillow and some of his halloween candy from this year, eaten.  This was only a few weeks ago so he missed the guy by a day or so...

I saw that post.  If it's real, that's seriously fucked up.  "IT'S TIME TO MOVE AGAIN, HONEY!"

Maybe a special line for people who are living in secret rooms unbeknownst to the home's occupant(s).  What a nightmare.

Or the secret po-rt-al that's under $noory's cave that leads to the home of the De-re-os, as in " hello, dere ! ".

And remember kiddies, only an hour and a quarter for you to start working on your channeling so that you can listen to $noorge $noory and his very, very special guest ... Soupy Sales ... as he does one ...
what ?
Soupy is dead ?
Oh, no !
Well, Shirley probably talks to him everyday, so just channel the show, ok ?

I know that was pretty rad. I was able to listen to KNYE on my kindle from the stream on his web site. Unfortunately I cant find a place on the web where I can hear KNYE on my kindle now that its not on Arties web site. He should put the streaming back on his site at least so its another feature and to give us some hope when he is released from his NC in 2 years. Afterall, he has stated once he is free, he will be streaming from his web site (artbell.com). Why not keep it going until then?? I also miss hearing from Art Bell here on the forum. I dont think it would herd to pop in and say  "Hello vaguely loveables"!!!
