Well it's officially defunct

I'm happy to have people think that for the time being.

Kübler-Ross would call this stage 5. Good on you bateman, good on you.

I didn't mean to come off like a jerk. I am thankful for the shows that you did do. Maybe in the future you can do some more or try something different.

I'm not. :'(

What I mean by that is, it gives me a break. I still get emails on a near-daily basis asking when the show will be back. I've been mum on the subject because I don't want to constrain myself to a timetable just yet.

Fair enough, Bateman.  It does require a great deal of work and time.  Your fans will still be here when you are ready for us. ;)

there's another part of me that wants to drop off the radar and get drunk in some tropical locale for months on end sans internet connection.

I've been waiting for this.

It's been six months--has what you've done in the meantime been more productive than getting drunk in the tropics?

How much  are you collecting on 'unemployment?'  A friend Falkie wants to know.  It's a grift he hasn't been able to master yet.

I remember supporting this guy.  Oh well...

This show was lost... like tears ...in rain.  :'(

This is not a drill.

Great!  I need a new muse since Hoagie is a lost cause.

In the canyons of Manhattan
Where the sky is but a sliver
And the wind from off the water
Hides behind the looming buildings
Poised to pounce, just like a panther
When you reach a sudden corner,
Stood the one we know as bateman
Looking at his brand-new iphone
With its screen of glowing crystal
And its tightly fitting cover.
Lost he was in concentration,
Looking at his favorite website,
As the light the phone emitted
Played upon his gentle features
As he formed a thought most clever.
Now, with brows so tightly knitted,
And his thumbs poised high to enter,
He received a sudden buffet
From an unexpected menace --
One of those who take advantage
Of a moment's inattention
To relieve you of your assets...

God, you're good!  Time to put this on again. ;)

Marked down for my next vid presentation!

Best News I've heard in a long time bateman, and you know how badly I needed some!  Maybe it was those cookies I made last night that marked the beginning of an era of good news and happiness for all sewergabbers, everywhere.

Am I being too optimistic?

QuoteYet at the same time they are likely to lose money quickly as well, or worse yet, not know what happened to it, as if it had slipped through their fingers. Most February 3 people have a large measure of trouble achieving stability and permanence in their lives, and yet a flexible lifestyle itself can provide a kind of security for them. Quick to adapt, February 3 are less threatened than most by changing circumstances and uncertainty.
QuoteMany born on February 3 are rather flaky in their attitude to health, and therefore regular checkups are suggested. However, they may have trouble keeping the appointments, either forgetting them altogether or arriving late. Indeed, a similar problem exists where keeping to a regular diet or regular exercise pattern is concerned. February 3 people often insist on being free to eat what they want when they want, and resist having rules or expectations placed on them. As long as their luck holds up, and a precipitous fall in spirits does not throw them into depression, they do very well with such a liberal approach. This is one of the few days of the year where a programmed attitude toward health just won’t work at all. February 3 people like plenty of physical and sensuous gratification, as long as there are no strings attached. Because their activities keep them busy both physically and mentally, they must avoid abusing or overusing their bodies, for problems with joints, veins and leg bones can surface later in life.
