So, let me get this straight; if you abhor the out-of-control spending currently destroying the future of this country, you`re a "crazy eyed Tea party loon"?

I take it you have no children or grandchildren and couldn`t give a rat`s ass about the future, because we can always ratchet up the tax rates and "soak the evil rich", right?

4 kids, one grandchild (not changing my handle to GrandDaddio, though).  Greatly concerned for the future, and as for the evil rich - by most accounts, I am one of them.  I'm not a one percenter, but I am a five percenter.  And believe me, I would gladly vote for sensible conservative government that focused on lowering taxes, creating jobs, and providing a solid safety net for the ill, disabled, elderly or disadvantaged.  Ideally, they would also respect and serve as good custodians for the environment, embrace a strong education system that teaches the sciences, and believes in true liberty and equality for all, regardless of race, gender, religious affiliation or lack thereof.  They would also encourage a strong immigration policy, a pillar of economic growth in vibrant economies.

Unfortunately, modern American conservatives are far more interested in cramming Christianity down my throat, persecuting minorities of all stripes, telling me where I can put my dick, what I can smoke, and then, for shits and giggles, becoming obsessed with fictional Marxist bogeymen who are coming to take my guns.

You, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and the other so called "patriots"  whose real agenda is to create a divisive class system and a rule of law solely based on property rights is an existential threat to the American people.
You shield yourselves with a limited, subjective version of the Constitution which you believe gives you carte blanche to make other people as miserable as you are.  Instead of expanding this nation's capability through the ideas of the Declaration and the spirit of visionaries like Franklin, you insist that the document instead ties and tethers us to inaction and inability.
It is as disgraceful and as shameful a pursuit as any act of villainy yet it is your only "pursuit of happiness."
You often troll the threads seeking to challenge perceived "marxists" at every turn yet never, not once have you ever offered a solution to any of our nation's challenges beyond a tired re-hashing of "the invisible hand" of the "free" market which offers no solution at all.

Just to the North of you in Waterbury (just to the South of Cynnie in MA).
Suprised to hear someone from the CT shore badmouthing the state considering how much has been spent on Sandy repair and clean-up. 
Don't get me wrong, Malloy sucks, but both the Feds and the State have tried to help.  Hasn't been perfect, but it seems all too often we forget services we do receive here, like a multi lane, pothole free Q-River bridge!  Again, maybe took too long and the construction delays suck, but it's gorgeous and will ease congestion on 95.
As to the "fake Indians" - I don't see anyone complaining about the millions they add to state coffers, even during down times at the casinos.  The Mashantuckets and the Mohegan tribes have done a lot to develop in harmony with SE CT.  I know some are wary of the land grab, but it's being done through real estate transfers, not with Cavalry soldiers at gunpoint, so let them have at it.
Want to live in TX?  Perhaps Austin, maybe Houston. Now's the time to go.  Great skiing in Amarillo, freshest lobster in Galveston, great fall foliage in San Antonio.  Oh, and jobs a-plenty!  Assuming you thrive on $7.25/hr.

      And what did that Casinos get us?  A shifted tax base allowing the state to lower taxes?  The State became addicted to the slot revenue and still comes up short every year.
The tribes are just title holders in the whole scam.  The Mohegans cannot even finish their tribal projects and are nearly bankrupt as a tribe.   They are defaulting on their loans in order to pay the annual booty to the tribal members.  The true beneficiaries of the Mohegan Sun are a bunch of South African gangsters. 
     
What do you think the "Sun" in Mohegan Sun is from?  It's from the infamous "Sun City" from the former "bantustan" of Bopthustwana of Apartheid South Africa, where a similar arrangement of "tribal sovereignty" was used to provide the legal framework to allow gaming without having to make the legislative changes to officially sanction and regulate it.   (You may recall the Bruce Springsteen B-side of "We are the World We are the Children" as a musicalboycott of Sun City.) Of course when they did this in ZA it was bad, but here it is good.  Go figure.  Now the same guys behind this are trying to convince the poor dumb citizens of Springfield MA that they can "improve" their economy by corrupting the social security and pensions of senior citizens by tempting them with cheap buffets and casinos without the cultural rape and "deal with the devil" that goes along with finding some obscure band of "natives" to co-op under the name of some protecting their culture and tribe (by providing them with unlimited Corvettes, iPhones, and drugs).

The same thing went on at the Mashuntucket Pequots at Foxwoods, but that was a bunch of Malaysians or something.
