Could you imagine another earthquake? I think the entire State of Washington would have to evacuate.
Got potassium iodide?

That tape sound quality hasn't held up very well.

I do not think it has degraded any. It is just the way it is.

Japan should offer terminally ill people a significant amount of money to go in there and turn screws minutes at a time. Michio said Russia used the military to deal with Chernobyl.
I remember a few days after the Fukishima incident, Dr.  Michio Kaku appeared on cable news shows and recommended they do the "Chernobyl solution" and seal it all up in concrete.\
But they still have not done that, and its worse than Chernobyl was...

What year is it right now?

I almost forgot about Miley Cyrus and cell phones.

Ah, an innocent time, before tweeting and twerking ...

yes. The problem is is that the power company do not have the resources or the mental capacity to deal with it yet they insist on doing it and have done so for 2 years now.  the top nuclear scientists around the world should have been called in to come up with a solution.

Linda sounds like she is having soooooo much fun!!!! I love this.

For her it's probably like barely living off cafeteria food for ten years, then suddenly being dropped into a 4-star restaurant of awesomeness.

Got to go pick up the kids from daycare. Enjoy the rest of the show. I might pop in towards the end but will listen to the replay over the weekend.

WELL SAID!

In my day young fella we had only 4 and 2/2 channels in black and white and we liked it like that. No UFH or any such nonsense. And we watched on a real TV a Dumont.

No. I wonder if I can get it at the drug store.

When it first happened, no one around here had it. They sold out in the first few days. Kelp tablets were being used as a substitute.

GEEEEE... THANKS for reminding us that tonight's the last live show 'til Monday *sigh*

Of course, it's the last weekend without a new Walking Dead...

No Barbara from GIS?  Wha...?  I miss her.

I wormholed Art about this. Guess we'll wait to hear what Brendon says. I hope she hasn't passed on or is too old or ill to do the show. She always sounded like a heavy smoker.

SgtRocko

You guys are right, she seems a LOT peppier and happier talking to Art

I think they should just drop a nuke on the place and get it over with ... seems like whatever radiation that created would be less than letting it just leak more forever.
