Art only has screeners when there is a guest on to make sure the call is guest/topic related. When he has proper open lines (which hasn't been often since DM) they are unscreened open lines.

Whilst driving and listening to the show today I was excited when LMH mentioned Michio Kaku. I just love when a recurring guest mentions another unrelated recurring guest. It's like Homer Simpson turning up on Family Guy. To have JC call in with LMH of all people who has been with Art since almost day dot is just mind blowing and as someone above said, "The circle is now complete". I'm surprised the universe didn't explode.

But it has not been half bad this time.  I think when Noory would put her on and go out for a few hours to grab a bite to eat it was too much.  Actually, I did not really want to hear her at all.  But with Art breaking it up a little, asking some questions and breaking the monologue up I would have no problem with her doing the occasional appearance.

It seems that so many guests that I no longer listened to on coast because they were stale were possibly made stale by Dave.
