There is no comparison, without being nasty when George took over from Art I tried very hard to accept him. However, it just didn't work, he was not the same and could never be. As Art used to say,"he get's it" well not in George's case, he didn't get it he lacked Art's humor, imagination and cynicism. Even when Art tripped over his tongue it was funny, when George does it I just shake my head. No, sorry George you are not in the same league as the master it's time to go and let Art have his time slot back.

This is my first post.  I first discovered Coastgab a while back, the George Noory Sucks thread was on page 375 or so.  I didn't really have any thing to add but it was nice to know I was not the only one who was infuriated by Noory's bullshit.  It had become entirely too clear that Coast had become a pale stinking shadow of its former self and had no intention or ability to improve.  I drive 3 plus hours every night and I can't stand right wing rant radio so my options were limited.  I started listening to Art Bell sometime back in the early 90's.  I was hooked.  His artistry was made even more obvious by Snor's lazy uninformed attempt to paint the Mona Lisa, by numbers on a postage stamp with a paint roller.  I am giddy that Art Bell is back.  His first show rocked!

Here is some of the reasons that I enjoy Mr Art Bell.

1)his shows are NOT ALEX JONES'S INFOWARS SHOW.
2) He does his homework
3)He covers REAL science
4)He covers real things that go bump in the night because he lives near AREA 51
5)UFOs
6)He enjoys Star Trek
7)He knows how to interview people.
8)HE DOES NOT SUCK

@ SR 71.. you know this is a non issue, I for apparently one do not "hate" George. No matter who inherited the program, they would of course be compared to it's Creator, eventually everybody would "hate" that host. There is no winning, just degree's of losing.

Art vs George is hard to discuss because George never made it to the ring.

Noory is not Art, he's not Knapp, he just isn't a good talk show host.  Simple.  Art's a legend in radio.  Noory should be selling shoes somewhere.
