I assume you meant "without" an attorney.

My advice is don't try it. The system is set up in such a way that trying to go it alone is legal suicide.

Couple questions... do you have children? Do you have lots of money? If no to both questions... do you live in a no fault state? if yes then I don't think you need much protection. But I stress I am not an attorney and this advice is free... so...

If on the other hand you have money or more significantly have children... get an attorney like yesterday.

Thanks everyone and I have no kids and broke as hell and live in a no fault state so I will take your advice and make the decision soon then let everyone know how it went for the divorce.

Now the bankruptcy!!1
