Running Ubuntu on a Nexus 7

Since I don't own a cellphone, a tablet, or Linux, I don't care much about these, other than to keep vaguely informed.

So if you're a Nexus 7 geek, and want to turn it into an Ubuntu machine, here's how:

If Android is so great, why do you have to mess with Ubuntu?  I don't get it.

on the contrary, android is great because you have the option of messing with ubuntu if you choose.

Probably because you could stack on some kind of functionality from software like Oracle or math software.
