Mark Edward

I recently listened to a show which in the first half featured Mark Edward, a mentalist performer and psychic de-bunker.  (Although an open minded one). 

George Noory so consistently missed the point SO much it was totally remarkable. 

George Noory: "Well, my aunt that was a doctor spent years trying to investigate the paranormal."

Mark Edward: (waiting for Noory to say something more as an arguement): "<pause>... hello??" (assuming maybe he got disconnected)

I really liked hearing from Edward because he's actually got a sensible approach, compared to the usual fraudulinos like Sylvia Brown and her ilk.  The problem is that Noory is a stupid person with stupid beliefs:  - There are no coincidences, insistence on the evil/good dichotomy, ouija boards are bad and very real connections to evil forces, etc.  Unable to put his stupid beliefs aside, he really came out looking like the idiot he really is.

I hope they get Mark Edward back, although I'd like to hear him interviewed by someone less stupid in the future like Ian Punnett or George Knapp.

I hadn't listened to Noory for about a month, but when I saw the great reviews this guest received, I listened to it.   The guest was awesome.  Since he didn't kiss up to Noory, I highly doubt he'll be invited back. 

The most egregious statement by Noory was when the guest was talking about where he worked.  Noory said he'd come by and visit, and that he fully expected the guest to introduce him to the audience.   :  The guest was like "ugh...okay."

I don't think we'll be seeing Mark again.  He goes totally against the current C2C grain and although sNoory couldn't discern the disdain I'm sure the producers did... or not?
