There is absolutely no evidence that he was shot at. No bullets or bullet holes has ever been found and Art himself have not even seen anyone with a gun. Even the police found this story so far fetched that they are not even investigating it and thought that it could just be the sound of firecrackers.
All we basically know is that during one of these instances there was a car nearby.

I find it funny you say he is not a quitter, when he has done this over and over in the past each with a dramatic story behind it. With all these drama you would think he was cursed if he was not at the very least exaggerating things.
Also strange how many of us saw the signs of him retiring even before these incidents. He acted the exact same way he did before he quit c2c and sirius on the show. He also even brought up how tough it was to do this show 5 days a week and nearly even quit several times over other small issues some even before the show even got on the air. How is this not being a quitter??
If it was that bad as you say, then why the fuck would you not let police investigate the ONLY trail you got which was the phonecall??
Even if he suspects who it is, there is no way to "catch him" when you got no one on the case.

I acknowledge your points.However I think you can not LOGICALLY say that Art would sabotage his own show.If you do you are calling him a liar.Yes the grind of doing a show is hard but evidence and Arts behavior CLEARLY show a) he enjoyed doing his show and b)there was an intruder,intimadation, and and effort to disrupt his show;c)Evidence of other neighbors seeing the guy who fired a shot driving off .Arts own testimony.And his family's reaction all obviously point to a REAL event.As a side point I note the amazing amount of people on the net who suspect everything is a lie or a conspiracy.DO YOU REALLY THINK ART MADE UP THE WHOLE STORY? Art is without a doubt addicted to reading what trolls say. 

I won't go into detail here, but it is bizarre that Art, an enormous icon of broadcasting, is so engaged and worried about what is said by anonymous people on dopey message boards about him, about Heather and about his supposed "stalker".  I haven't figured why in fact he is so compelled to read and care about such meaningless drivel and opinions.

I know what you're referring to. If Art wants to go after someone, he should check out his IMDB page and Godlike Productions and various other websites out there, they have posted all kinds of nasty stuff about him. Guess it's hard to keep up with all the negative comments.

I think Art has an addiction to being on radio without wanting the hassle and daily grind of being on radio. He is trying every once in awhile to recapture the magic he felt hosting C2C from the mid-90's to early 2000.

Pretty much.  For someone who claims to love doing radio so much, how is it his first and only response to whatever comes up is to quit?  I would expect someone who truly 'loved' it to be like the ballplayers who say someone's going to have to tear their uniforms off before they'll retire.

This is a good indication that Art is not even thinking in terms of returning to MITD. "Another show" says to me a show other than MITD. This isn't news but someone should make it official and just get it over with.

This is quite true.

Keep in mind also, that for Art to even be aware of "trolls", he has to make the conscious effort to seek them out and then spend his free time reading what they are saying.

I really don't get it.

I am almost sure that every successful broadcaster has some form of message board where "trolls" are.  They seem to be able to get on with their lives.  Hell, Howard Stern has several message boards where half of the posters shit on Howard all the time, and these are substantial numbers of people, across different message boards, which Howard has even commented on and he doesn't care nor wastes his time reading them.

If Art is specifically targeting this forum, there is about 30-50 active posters, with about 3-5 trolls among them. I just don't see how Art is that fragile that 3-5 supposed "trolls" can cause so much emotional havoc simply by voicing their ideas and opinions, especially if you know they are trolls.  That is what I don't get.

If your red flag is up and you know you are about to read something that you know is a troll, written by a troll poster, why even read it, or care what it says.

Did Art ever say to Heather Wade, his new host to stop saying vile things about George Noory?  Heather specifically made numerous comments about George Noory getting sexual aroused looking at pictures of mutilated children, and how george google searches these images all the time for kicks.
