Unlike Clinton he didn't understand what the definition of the words apologize, or short mean. It isn't hard for the host to find the show to know for sure instead of taking someone elses word for it. It is clear they had him on to hurt Art... and Dave is as classless as they come.

Well Dave did tell us two things we didn't know:  he won't sue for MV for libel (the prospect of which had much of the forum in a lather all day) and (in violation of Art's confidence ) that he wanted Art back on C2C and was trying to make a place for him.  Both points certainly adjusted the image I was forming of him.  I'm sure that's not nearly the whole story, but thank God Art didn't sign up with Dave; he would be miserable in that corporate hole.

The fact that he's threatening MV with legal action *now* stinks to high heaven just as much as the Oates interview. Why now? Why does he think he could possibly have a libel case? He doesn't, but he threatens. Why? I'm sure a lawyer said to.

God, how I hope terrestrial stations come in droves to Midnight in the Desert. And I hope C2C with its stupid modern corporate model gets stomped.

Appreciate the hour or so read. Will also listen to this podcast. I only know George Noory as Art's replacement and occasional appearances on AA. Had no ideal there was a whole world beyond the world of late night radio.

I did not know that Dave had made a positive comment about Redacted until after I had done so, in fact I asked Redacted when he had done that. Anyway it's a moot point because I guess he made no offer that I am aware of, but I did. I love trying new things and as I mentioned she has a great voice and personality. So in the right kind of show I think she will add a spark, so why not?

I apologize for the length. I've enjoyed this site, long before I finally became a member. Huge thanks to the person that made the term "jism satchel" a part of my vocabulary.

I wanted to give something back if I can. I'm not a tech person, so not sure it's possible. Long story short I had an app for my Galaxy S2 that I affectionately call my Art Bell app; the technical name is A Online Radio. It's no longer on google play store. It's a shoutcast player that can search for & find every stream that's playing Art. I attached a few screenshots.

Today I got a Galaxy S6 & managed to pull the app off my  ancient S2 & saved it to my laptop. I'm going to try to install it later tonight on the new phone. My "giving back" is I didn't know if anyone would be interested in the app. I'm happy to email it to anyone that wants it.

It was great when Art was doing Dark Matter, as it would show live streams. I thought it would help people find the live streams of MITD (though more radio stations may make that moot), as well as the pirates rebroadcasting it.

Would anyone have interest in the app? If they are, am I allowed to post my email address, or should I just have people PM me if they want it?

Kind of a cool offer... I wonder if it will pick up the new MITD stream?  I would imagine you could post your email address- but the site will be crawled and your inbox will fill with spam.  Or worse, Pemrat execs will pick it up and send you emails begging you to subscribe for only "pennies a day."

Probably safer to have people PM you.  You also may try posting the offer in the "tech" forum here.  Things move a little slower, the post will not get bumped down 10 pages in one day and the people likely to know how to install from a computer file to a phone likely post / read there...
