   I have had some tough times, made some mistakes, but no, I am not a con man. I'd love to get an art studio and share my art, that is my goal. I have debt, I don't think con men acknowledge responsibility for their debts.

Well, now that's just a fucked up response. Just answer my question. People want to know why you didn't refund their money. That is your stumbling block that you need to get past in order to establish credibility and not look batshit crazy. Just answer it, tell us you needed the money and have been broke ever since, or whatever.

This whole thread seems to be on hold waiting for the Gabcast. Nobody's got anything they actually want to talk about, so Mr. F takes advantage of the pause in the action and, lo and behold, people seem bored enough to actually keep responding to him, useless as that is.

How about giving this thread a timeout until Thursday? There are plenty of other active threads to choose from, or else new ones can be started. The thing is, unless something very positive happens Thursday, some solid bit of encouraging, hopeful news, the chances of Art ever coming back to MITD are not good at all.

So, in a way, this could be an experiment. Let's see what happens to this place if Art Bell's return is no longer a relevant topic of conversation and the Art Bell thread dies on the vine. My guess is the site would adapt and survive. But let's put the cigarettes in the drawer for four days and see how that goes. Are we Masters of our Domain, in Seinfeldian terms, or not?
