There have been a couple playing on my radio in the last hour. Oh, now there's a flute in there. But who knows, it could be a live broadcast from the deck of the Titanic or DMRN. I really can't say and stranger things have happened in the AB universe.

You know I took it down. I like her as a person. I just don't think the show is that interesting. I don't know. I don't want to spend all of the next few weeks bitching about it. I realized as I was typing there is no point. People are in their camps and it is a lot like politics.

That being said I take no glory in calling it. It is sad that this is how it all ended. I listened to Art for 20 years.

You said you haven't listened to the show and say your not going to listen. Then you say you don't think the show is interesting.

I hope people are more fair to you if your book gets published. I don't think you would like people saying that they didn't read the book, don't plan on reading the book, but it wasn't interesting.

Bullshit.  You know I'm right.  It's not normal to go after someone with the intensity and the outrage that we've seen here, unless there's a deep underlying emotional trauma.  And this isn't the first time he's done this; it's a pattern.

He knows it too, he has to.  This kind of unrelenting rage doesn't come out of nowhere.  And it surely as hell doesn't happen because some guy stops doing a radio show.  This is different, this is personal.

I listened the first few shows. And people will be assholes about my writing. I am ready. Fiction writing workshops prepared me for that. Kinda why I don't take this seriously. If Heather is smart she will ignore everything that does not help her further her career. In other words don't engage the haters. Although I don't hate her at all. This is good practice. Learning to ignore that which does not help.

You've said this before, a few times that I've seen. And you say that you know her and that you've spoken with her. It seems to me that if she really doesn't want to host the show, she must have a compelling reason to still be doing it, especially considering the lack of critical acclaim and drop in subscriptions.

Since you say in the same breath that she wants Art back, I must conclude that a big part of the compelling reason is that she believes that there is actually a good possibility of him coming back (and not just occasionally; that scenario still leaves her doing what you say she doesn't want to do). And that raises the question of whether she is somewhat deluded on this matter of Art coming back, all by herself or with help from others.

What would you do in her situation?
She works for Art, not Keith, the boss put her in a situation, im not sure if she has a contract, if so like i said, what would you do?

Yes you imagine quite a lot. If you read what I typed as mean spirited, that says more about you than it does me. I was simply speaking from experience as a failed business owner. Shit like Art Bell, getting laid, sleeping never hit my radar while I was working for myself. I was simply 2 busy.

Reflecting on my previous experience, if I were ever so successful to have a company with 70 plus employees, Art Bell, or a thread about Art Bell wouldn't amount to a hill of beans in my life. Even less so if my company was having problems due to current international economic conditions. But thats just me, hence why I said "if I had a company". Chefist may feel differently and hes more than welcome to tell me so, or tell me to fuck off if he feels the need. No ill will was intended, I was trying to be succinct and honest. If that came off as brutal in text. I apologize for my lack of diplomacy.

I like chefist even though hes a "Noobie" that missed the Art Bell Quits Dark Matter days. This thread, website, went to "shit" back then also. Give it time, it gets better. A forum is only as good as what the community gives it's power to. Be it good or bad. It's not Daddy MV, or Art Bells job to make this forum good or bad. Only forum members have that power.
