That was a really awkward guest interview, Not sure if the guest was just a bad interview, or if he was just got sick of Jorch dumb questions, because he's replies were mostly "yup" and "huh hum"

Of course Noory had to squeeze in a middle east opinion and I believe some anti-net neutrality opinion where the guest had no opinion on any of this and brushed off of the question.

How bad does it look when Jorch brags about having 600 affiliates then somebody calls up claiming they been able to get through on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday lol.

The fact that Coast is Toast Am has so many affiliates (mostly from Art,) and so few listeners says a lot about Jorch.

I listen only occasionally.  Noory is supposed to be an experienced host - yet he makes trainee mistakes.  The other day, and I've heard him comment this way before, the guest says something regarding the audience and yours truly responds with 'Yes, they eat this stuff up'. 

This distances Noory from the audience and makes him seem like a huckster who considers his audience fools.  It tells us what he really thinks of us, having little respect for us, his listeners.  It sounds insulting, even if it may not be the intention. 

According to the net, he makes about $500k and his net worth is 2 million.  You would think, with that salary, he'd have saved more, but maybe those figures are not accurate. 

It's a confirmation that even in Wikipedia there is a quote from a reviewer that reiterates many of the Noory criticisms made on this forum.   

It must be heartbreaking for Art to see his baby be dragged down so much.  The Premiere Network certainly does not seem to have profit as it's main goal, first pushing a Tea Party agenda and then putting up with this clown host whose evidently chief attribute is following orders.

i guess i messed up trying to reply to a post, but i have to report that i heard about an email exchange w noory where he actually confessed that his ONLY radio experience was '71-'74 at wcar-am in detroit as an occasional fill in---news, music and (i think) talk.  no response when asked if it was more than 6 times filling in.  THAT was his 45 years broadcasting experience!  he has since started using the phrase "in media" instead of radio.  his tv career was probably in a cubby shuffling papers. also in that exchange was an admittance that his "pentagon job" was his 2 week assignment (summer reserve stint) with the navy reserve, and not actual employment as he tried to imply.
seems he is trying to address (or explain) a lot of bellgab gripes.  too late bud.  you are seen by many as a total fraud and that is a reputation that is hard to change.
