George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

I actually wanted to listen to the second part of the show, but the internet connection keeps cutting out. I finally got it to work and it was a ten minute fucking commercial break. The second the show came back on, internet went out. Fuck it it, I give up. Noory is not worth the hassle. I'm going to go read.

I called in to 2C2 last night and asked Dr. Kaku about 3-D printing. I'm pretty sure George didn't know WTF I was talking about.

I remember that one, a pretty good question I thought.  And MK's response was pretty cool - that one day when you order certain items online instead of getting it sent by mail you'd just print it out at home.  It would be like instant delivery.

Well, I was going to pop through the secret door and toss out a pro-Jorch comment to make it seem like the good old days again, but then he said that the internet is a wonderful piece of information and I deflated like a custom blow up doll with a knife through it....

Hey Scifi yep it's like old times seein' you splash about tryin' to help ol' Jorchie.  His riptide of foolishness may be too much for you to swim against though.

Noory only had Dr. Robert Schock on for about 40min.
Couldn't compare with Jimmy Church's 3hour interview with him a couple weeks ago...

VtaGeezer

Turned C2C on last night just in time to hear Noory bring up credit card microchips imbedded in one's hand and alarmist Albrecht respond with "...the mark of the beast..." crap.   Click.  It never dawns on The Dim One that if Albrecht and her fundie ilk ever get their way, they'd burn his New Age ass at the stake for witchcraft.

Ever since Jorch blinked Wells to the cornfield I haven't really been listening.

I find myself shutting C2C off most of the time. I don't think it's only because of JBW although it might have been one of the last straws for me. I used to really enjoy this type of show but I think the trifecta of repetitive guests and topics, overall poor quality of the show, and infomercial style of pushing products has put me off for good.

Shame on you... you should have made a art bell comment or bell gab shout out.

RJ

Howlin' Meltdown Linda tonight.  Seems like the same old Art Bell guests are being recyled at an alarming rate these days!  Oh well, anytime The Knooron brings on someone new that might be a hit, his interview style decimates the listening experience.  My tuning in to Coast to Toast lasts about three minutes these days (nights) before I hit the off button and I only give it a try maybe once or twice a week.  Too many comericals and way too much stupity from the radio host.  Hey Knooron is your job really the hard?  Ask a question to your guest, pretend you're interested, ask a follow up question, listen to the answer. Rinse and repeat.  WTF!

Meanwhile, it may be time to force another commercial re-record out of The Mighty Mushmouth, following the 'underlying love' debacle.
Tricalm, the itch cream, this time. The whole ad makes me gag, but I was especially puzzled by Joorch's odd declaration 'It comes in blue in a white box'. 'It'? What? The ointment or the tube? And if the tube is blue, how would we know if the thing is in a white box? Then I began to wonder if it isn't just another mis-reading of ad copy by The Maestro. A quick Google confirms suspicions. I'll wager good money he's supposed to be saying 'It comes in a blue and white box'.

I'm happy to know that this irritates someone else as much as it irritates me.

VtaGeezer

I still like LMH; she carries her segments without in spite of Noory's banal attempts to be relevant.

Haha! Enough that I decided to email Joorch. Me to george@coasttocoastam.com 1.22am EST
Subject: Tricalm
<<'It comes in blue in a white box'
What the hell is that supposed to mean? Might I suggest you try re-recording it as 'It comes in a blue-and-white box'. Which it does, by the way.

Reply from Joorch. 3:39am

<<Three people listened and he does say blue and white box...but the "and" is
quick...
Thanks>>

Ridiculous. And clearly from someone else, as it refers to Noory in the third person. Possibly the three people refers to the audience. Me to whoever, 11:26am.

<<Thank you, Not-George-Noory
I have no idea what you 'three people' are listening to, but this is not an EVP. It is unequivocally 'blue in a white box'. Thanks for at least confirming that 'in a blue and white box' is what it should be.
These 'three people' must be the same enablers who allow George to get away with talking nonsense night after night without correction or apology: 'Quantum Phillics', 'diossuseez', 'Primmer' (as opposed to Primer) and 'toxicolody' to give just a few very recent examples. Not to mention enquiring as to whether exorcism is religious when by definition, as a construct of The Catholic Church, it cannot be anything else. There was a word last night in relation to housing that was simply incomprehensible. The something Department. I rewound live on it several times. No idea.
When you set the bar of your standards for the show this low, and attempt to defend the indefensible, there can be no hope left for C2C.
With my underlying love>>

At the time of writing, no further response.......

So do I because her segments keep the host out of it now and, despite her, maybe getting older, she investigates and reminds me of old shows which were nice. She is an honest person and not selling stuff and whose own website remains amazingly "old school" make-a-website like geocities or something.

I wasn't paying close attention, but it sounded like someone called him Dr. Cuckoo.  Also, they seemed to have a couple of crazy/angry callers in a row.  Good to see they still rely on the one or two dozen people to phone in.

Okay, kids, I'm going to bed.

That's what Alex Jones was calling him a couple of Friday's ago.  His second hour guest was talking about Michio being on the news talking about global warming, I think...

I still like to catch LMH when she's on.  She's an old pro at delivering her stories and usually controls any conversation well enough to keep the Noory buttinski cringe-factor down.

I lose interest when she's clunking around with her old tape recorder.

First hour guest sounds like a numbers lady bs artist going to have to wait a good hour at least before tuning in.

I think he was on about one year ago talking about making good luck and bad luck and was pretty good. A fun, Tony Robbins light kind of guy.

Fuck.  I love the Scorpions, but, give it a rest Nooron.  No matter how black you dye your hair and lip critter, face it, you're just not a Scorpions sort of dude.

The c2c schedule for this weekend is up now at the website.
We get a Friday with a guest host with Noory taking the night off.
Looks like Saturday is some new guest host I haven't heard of before and he has for his guest John Lear, back again.
Would have thought Lear would want to return with his buddy George Knapp hosting though.
Unfortunately this weekend is the start of a new month, so that means Noory hosts this Sunday...

Actually he was kinda cool - I think I heard a slight crack in my wall of pessimism.

I like her, too, but I think all her segments are pre-recorded. It sounds like Jorch sets her up, asking questions to lead into her chosen topics, and then hits the play button. She might be on the phone for a short chat at the beginning, but I think that's it. Something is strange about the flow of the interviews. But I don't mind, because Jorch is mostly MIA on her nights :)
I have enjoyed her coverage of the loud booms and rumblings coming from the earth. We hear it here and the tunneling theory seems plausible to me. I live near Mt. Weather, so if the gov't really is tunneling, it seems particularly likely they would be active nearby.
The only pet peeve I have with LMH is the whole 'open quote' and 'close quote' thing. It annoys me, probably because she says it 10+ times in each segment.

I believe he fancies himself to be more of an Elvis impersonator.
I would be surprised if he's even heard of the Scorpions.

I am always surprised when he plays 'The Magnificent Seven' by the Clash. I figure it must be a leftover of Ian Punnet's.

Yeah, most of the good bumps are stolen holdovers from better times.
George's tastes lean more towards "Red Rubber Ball" and Mel Torme.

I just can't handle it anymore... Listening to jorch has been shown to make you either stupider or suicidal.  I TRY so hard to listen to LMH but her tone seems to almost drone me into some sort of coma.... I hear her start her shit and I'm like ok lets try to listen... then suddenly I'm jarred awake when jorch's idiocy starts back up.
